Ban Reason: combat logging mid police scene
Why do you think you were banned: i think i was banned because i combat logged during a scene which ruined the roleplay scene for the others involved
Why should we unban you: i combat logged because i had work early in the morning and i knew the scene was going to take a long time as i would have had to go to the police station get arrested and wait in the cell and be transported to the prison. while this being the case i shouldnt have played at such early times in the morning knowing that i couldve been part of a roleplay scenario lasting this long. ive played on the server a long time and this is my first ever offence. i understand i made a mistake and that i shouldnt have done what i did but i think that my time on the server and having so little amount of ban this can be seen as a mistake as its not something ive done in the past. i think that whilst ive been on this server i have impacted peoples roleplay experience only positively apart from this one circumstance.

Why did you not send a message in /ooc , /me or open a ticket?

Instead, you just decided to log off leaving everyone involved in the dark.

This is actually your second ban. Your first was a one day.
If you'd have tried to ask those involved you wouldn't be here writing this appeal.

at the time i didnt even think to write in ooc or anything like that. i understand that this would have been the correct way to go about the situation but in the heat of the moment i just didnt think to do this.

while i was on the server i was in numerous gangs including some of the biggest on the server at the time. i made alot of money doing legal and illegal things while on the way gaining alot of contacts and learning alot about the server. i believe that if i was unbanned i would be able to carry on with my character that was in gangs and a criminal as well as having characters in the police or the nhs or maybe working at a garage. it has been a long time since i played so i would have to see how the server has changed and try the new things that i havent done before. i will not make any mistakes like this again and i will make sure that i create good roleplay for others and not leave because a situation isnt ideal for me. i would like to gain alot of money again and maybe even start my own gang with my friends that are on the server.

because i took a really long break from rp and my pc in general and alot of my mates on the server stopped playing. but now im looking to get back into it and this was the only server i really played and enjoyed.

i combatlogged

i think rpuk has this rule because its powerful you can just leave the server and not lose any item on you. like you might have items on you that give you an advantage on other players on the server. if everyone did this the server would not run as good as it does everyone would just do it when they have something to lose on them. having this rule is a big factor of the gang scene if everyone combatlogged then no one would have an upper hand to all the other gangs because nobody would lose anything in a war etc.

i think the rule i broke impacted all players involved in the scene in only a negitive way. me leaving the server ruined the rp scene for everyone involved mainly the police. me combatlogging mid scene stopped the police involved being able to roleplay properly and it just killed off the scene instantly. it left the police with a waste of time and no fair end product.

i think i can be trusted to be let back into the server because i have been around for a long time and ive only had a one day ban. yes this time it was a perm ban which doesnt look good at all but this is my first ever serious rule break i have never combatlogged before this or broke an other rules within the server. im hoping this can be seen as a silly mistake that can be looked past and move on from because it really wont happen again and i apologise to all partys involved this was a stupid mistake from my end and i will learn from it.
