Ban Reason: Common sense? Not sure of the specific reason.
Why do you think you were banned: Was a argument happening over the ban of someone, where multiple people, myself included got involved and made unnecessary comments.
Why should we unban you: After playing on this server for over 2 years, the last place i thought id be was here typing up an appeal for being banned on discord, i can understand why i was banned however at the time what i thought i was saying in the discord i did'nt think would put me in this position..

I believe i made possibly 2 comments, however only being able to remember the one that i believe is what got me band, that being - 'Drex do your homework pal before you power trip please'
In the moment of this whole discussion about someone getting banned for teaming & seeing all sorts of comments flying around, the last thing i was expecting was to be banned as usually there's warnings, now looking back at the situation where multiple people including myself was throwing these type of comments out i can understand why there was no warnings at all, and from Drex's POV he had multiple people going at him so i can understand the need to ban.

Although comments that i made should never happen or should just be kept to myself, I will now try to explain my reason behind me saying 'Drex do your homework pal before you power trip please'

The reasoning behind it all was because a friend of mine was banned (Gekz) from what i knew at the time was for teaming, before finding out the specific reasons of gekz ban, all i knew was during a gun fight with Cutlass, after we had cleared the area, i asked Gekz, who was a hangabout for Grove (not on the F6) to pass me a lockpick so i could lock pick the car, during the of the whole discussion in discord about this ban, i initially thought a big part of his ban was just for passing the lock pick over, now thats when i went and made the comment which i believe is the reason i am banned.

For myself i always find it hard to understand the teaming rules as i believe there is a lot of grey areas that no one finds out about until its too late, myself personally after being in the Lost MC for roughly a year where they had the opportunity to use the teaming rule to their advantage for various reasons (high quality roleplay reasons & history with alliances) going from being able to 'team' to it being a very strict rule when your only part of a whitelisted gang is rather confusing, therefor at the time when the ban happened on Gekz, i thought it was necessary to make the comment to Drex, thinking Gekz has been banned for the most pathetic reason ever, however after finding out he was watched for X amount time and there was other reasons to it, i can now understand and can only apologies for the comments made towards you on my behalf Drex if your the one taking on this appeal.

Happy to answer any questions regarding anything else i have said in the run up to the ban, apart from that i dont feel that theres anything else for me to say.

I can understand the feelings if you felt the ban wasn't fair but you could've just asked. You could've asked me as I was the one that had explained why to Gekz.

Unfortunately, a few of you just let your emotions take over and it spouted into passive digs at people who weren't even involved in the ban.

Now in one of the messages you stated that staff turn a blind eye to certain people. I just want to address that if you guys don't come to us with the information then I can't do anything about it.

The same with this alleged staff bias, if you don't report instances of it with proof then nothing will ever be done.
We unfortunately don't have eyes everywhere at all times.
In terms of this angst again a specific staff member, I'd like you to know that they haven't actually made any decisions/actions on the recent bans.
As some of you have now found out the more you push this idea, the worse off you end up being because you're letting your emotions take over instead of your brain.


I would've happily gone through it with you on TS the same way I had explained it to Gekz.
Why not just come to staff to ask about the rule for clarification?

Im struggling on how i respond to your reply as most things you've said is just common sense, i.e bringing you information on certain individuals i believe turn a blind eye to certain situations.
The reason i did not come to anyone or yourself included to get clarification about it all was because at the time it was the last thing i was thinking about was coming to TS or discord for a conversation over someone elses ban.

Let´s stop the talking around the bush and get straight into it. Everyone is aware that there has been many accusations thrown about me allegedly being some sort of shield or protector for certain people. Now, you did not only make comments towards Drex that night, you also very clearly displayed your stance on the "Cutlass Shield" angle.

This is not only very poor on your part, it is also unwarranted and the fact that not a single one of you decided to actually talk to me and instead resorted to spinning your own view on whatever was happening at the time - without having the whole picture at hand - is just baffling.


Now, you´ve been around for a long time and should know how things work here, no? How does it happen that a long standing member of this community gets pulled into haltless accusations and story spinning and does not seem to know how to go about these things the correct way?

I will be honest with you here, despite your somewhat clean ingame record, you did shoot yourself in the leg here very much and the stance on this kind of behaviour has gotten a lot harsher as of recent, I´m sure you understand why that is.

Hello Sammy, Thanks for the reply.

I will try give a reply to what you’ve had to said, although the majority of what you have said is a rhetorical question & everything that you have stated is plain simple common sense.

Now you state that I’ve “shot myself in the leg very much” which I can I understand, however I’ve seen people get welcomed back into this community with open arms who in my opinion have done a lot more damage.
I understand each Ban has different reasonings behind it & you’ve made it clear that the kind of behaviour which landed me hear has gotten a lot harsher since & I can understand that.

Looking at everyone who got banned during that situation the majority all gotten a 6 month cool down, but in each of their replies off staff, they’ve all been given a run down on their history in this community which wouldn’t of helped towards their chance of being unbanned.

You’ve questioned the same thing as Gee & that question being “why didn’t no one try speak to me before spinning your own view on whatever was happening at the time” and my reply to yourself regarding the question will be the same thing I said in my reply above, I did not think to try speak to yourself or any other staff about this whole situation because during the time, It was the last thing I even thought about.

I’ve read through this current reply & realised Ive replied like a tit as my replies to your questions are not in order & I’ve probably gone off topic & given a reply that has no relevance to this ban, so happy to answer any other questions you have to put on my plate.

Thank you for bringing this appeal to the staff team, looking at your record, I can see that it is relatively clean and I'm happy to see that.

Decisions are not taken lightly to ban someone, and all aspects of the scenario and actions taken during plays a massive part, there are always two sides to a ban, the side that the offending party wants you to believe and the side that actually happened, unfortunately you have fell into that trap and have gotten half a story, I can't say that, that was Gekz that give you half a story or if you assumed the story but either way it was wrong, I just hope that this acts as a lesson to 'hold your tongue' until you're in full possession of the facts.

I'd like to bring attention to this point you have raised here, you may have the opinion on this, but, decisions are made by the Staff team and the Staff team only, forming opinions on this is a dangerous game and should be kept to yourself, as stated above until you're in possession of the full facts of the situation and the reasons on why they were unbanned, and unfortunately your attempt here to try and make us be a little more lenient with you with this statement just won't work.

Ultimately the thing that lead you here was the abuse towards a Staff Member, this just can't be accepted and will not be accepted, we are here, everyday, for free, doing this to help this community because we love it and we want to see it thrive, we are not here to be abused because of the decisions we have been entrusted to make by the management team.

As a staff team we have spoken regarding this, and because of everything that I have mentioned above, it has been decided that the best thing for everyone here, is for you to take a break, and reflect on everything that has caused you to end up here, for that reason, this appeal has been denied and you will be eligible for reappeal in 6 months on 19/12/2024
