Ban Reason: I was banned under G3.1 OOC Information - Using out of character information to influence the course of roleplay is considered metagaming and punishable by a ban. This includes but it not limited to: Twitch Streams, forum information and steam messages.
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned because staff suspected me of metagaming when they saw me "circling" the area of two downed Grove members before finding and getting them to a hospital.
Why should we unban you: Welcome to my first unban appeal (and last if i was to be unbanned)!
From staffs POV i can understand that it does look suspicious that i was "circling" the area of 2 downed grove members multiple times. However it was nothing more but a coincidence that i found them and there was no meta gaming taking place as i don't have roles on the discord to even see the voice channel they were or were not in.
This is what I can remember from that night:
I had done some deliveries and thought i would deposit some cash at mirror park.
When i passed Lost Comp. and Taxi i saw Grove Green cars without drivers and a bunch of other random colored cars all over the place. I did not see anyone downed on the road or inside the cars however i did just pass to get to mirror park gas.
After i deposited the cash i went back the way i came, i kind of slow rolled it because i was curious - human nature.
As i get closer to Taxi shots begin to go off so i make a quick U-turn and slow down once i pass the speed camera. That's where i got G-checked by someone in (what i remember) a white super car asking if i am affiliated with anyone and what i am doing here.
I answer that i am not affiliated to anyone and that i'm just taking a break from deliveries and was going for a joyride. The gang member takes off and i start to drift around the neighborhood only making left turns. The reason for this is because I'm terrible at doing left turn drifts and i was waiting for the fighting to stop to see if i could grab bodies and get them to the hospital.
How i came to find the Grove car was by accident/luck. As i was around i made a too harsh drift that resulted in me steering to go right, instead of spinning out. After the right turn i quickly spot the green underglow of the grove car to my left which in return made me crash into a container or electric box. I go to the top of the culdesack to turn back around and i look to my right to make sure i saw what i thought i saw.
I chose to circle around and see if there was anyone around to make sure that i wouldn't get spotted when approaching the car.
I go up to the next house and park my delivery car in a bush and get out.
I get closer to the car and i can hear that someone is in there, i can't really see or hear who it was but what i could tell it was someone who needed medical help. They also informed me that there could be someone in the trunk. And because i am trying to get on the good side with Grove so i can possibly hangaround for them in the future, in that moment it only made sense to me that i should help them.
Why my hands were up as i exited the vehicle.
The staff who pulled me brought up the fact that i held my hands up as i got out of the vehicle as if i did it to not be shot or mistaken for someone hostile. Not sure of the importance of it but i still want to address the reason why this happened.
As i get out of cars most of the times my game bugs out and i got to either tap X once to not walk funny/jittery and sometimes i got to do it again to lower my arms when they get stuck in a vertical position. (It would also make my character aim sideways.) Which is what happened in this case as they stayed up.

The matter of teaming.
I was informed by the staff that pulled me, that by me not being in a F6 or was an actual hangabout i was teaming. I am aware that this is a rule but i simply misunderstood it. I was under the impression that it was only if i was in an F6 that i couldn't help anyone from a different F6 when they'd been fighting. Kind of like one team is helping another team. And since i was not in a team yet it would be okay. However the staff explained pretty good how the teaming rule works.
The staff explained; since i didn't know the people that i saved by as little as first name basis it wouldn't make sense to help them regardless if they are in a gang that i hang out with. Because of this it would be considered teaming. However if it was someone that my character actually did know and was friends with it would make sense to help.
Ever since i started playing this server about 2.5 years ago i have always tried my best to provide the best RP to my abilities. Even as a gang member towards other gang members who'd just shot my face off. I really do care about providing RP over anything else on this server and i would love to be able to continue doing so. This community has been way too good to me and i wouldn't want to be a part of destroying it by cheating and ruin other peoples chances of a good RP sesh.
Unfortunately there is no clip of me finding them.
I have my medal set to 5 minutes and i believe i was pulled about an hour after it had happened.
