Reason given for your ban: C2.2 & G2.9

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: To be straight forward, I am new to the City and GTA roleplay in general, me and mate needed the cash and used a short cut to get quick cash and exploited the game by creating new characters and sending each other money that is given to you at the start of the game

Why should we unban you ?: I apologies for exploitng and breaking two rules with no consideration. When the god pulled us to the side, we did apologies and I didnt lie to him at all, there was no point in lying, me and the god both knew what I had done and I didnt want to waste his time, my friend and I did offer to wipe my character ourselves however understandably the god wouldnt allow that and we had to accept the repercussion of our actions hense why I am here now appealing for an unban. We had a calm conversation with the god who actually thanked us for being civil unlike previous players he had dealt with who would cuss at him and we took it on the chin that would we did was wrong and accepted that he had to ban us. Please consider unbanning us/shortening our sentence, my friend and I both know that there is no point in trying to do exploit money again and no point in either considering to attempt to break another rule and just enjoy the game how it is intended to be played. Whilst you are a new player within 5 days you've managed to break two rules and landed yourself with a permanent ban. With this being the case how can we trust you aren't just looking to come back to break more rules?

With these rules it would be common sense that this isn't allowed would it not?

 
At the time I did think, "this is so easy how is this allowed" and went ahead with it because I didn't think that I would be seen doing it, from that I can see that yourself and your team have a better oversight of whats going on at all times when people are playing this game so I wouldn't be able to out smart you and break anymore rules that involves exploiting. I'm actually really enjoying the whole roleplaying and can see that people enjoy it too so I dont intend, nor ever intended to break any of the roleplaying rules either. I have another friend who I played with on the server who wasnt involved with the money exploiting but because I was banned I haven't been able to play with him on the server and we had big plans to have fun on the server which would be ruined if I was perma banned or tried to attempt to break another rule if I was allowed back in. In the few days that I've been banned, not being able to play with my friend is enough for me to realise that there wouldn't be any point in breaking any rules because I would miss out on all the fun that he'll have without me. I understand that my characters will be wiped that is completely fair and I hope you give me another chance to prove myself that you wont see me on this page again. If you was even unsure why didn't you reach out to the staff team to check if something was allowed or not, We have many ways to be contacted from Join for support on teamspeak, Discord Tickets, OOC Chat ect. So why didn't you go this route before hand ? 

You mentioned you wouldn't be able to outsmart us if it involves exploiting. Does that mean you would break other rules should you have the chance and believe you won't be caught?

To be completely honest, the thought of getting all that money was the reason I didn't ask because I knew the answer would be no anyway. Even though I knew at the time it wouldn't be allowed I still went and did it anyway because the thought of all that money and greed got to my head. In the future if given the chance I would ask around or just simply have a better read through the rules. 

Even if I thought I was able to outsmart you , 1) I woulnd't / dont believe I can outsmart you , 2) I've suffered the consequences already of my actions knowning that my character will be wiped, the time I've lost not being able to play with my friend and because of that I have had time to think that it isnt worth breaking rules and finally 3) I genuinenly just want to go back to playing the game the way it is intended to play because breaking the rules wont get me anywhere and will just result in this situation again.

Thank you again for reading this, hopefully you believe me that this is the last time I will be break a rule.

 
So knowing it would be a no you would of received you did it anyway. Lets say you got into a situation where you knew you could break a rule to get out of it, Even though you know it's something you shouldn't do, Would you? 

I'm trying to get my head around the thought process here and why you did this even though you knew it was wrong. Can you explain this please?

 
I’d like to say it was a one off. It was purely greed the reason why I broke this rule. Like I stated previous, the thought of getting 35k from 3 characters each got to my head and resulted in me having no respect for the rules, I’m sorry. If I got into a situation again where I knew I could break a rule again to get out of a situation then the answer would simply be a no, I’ve learnt from my mistake this time and would find another way to get out of the situation. For example let’s say, instead of breaking rules to get money, I would just simply get money the way everyone else does and the intended way because I know it just isn’t worth cheating for.

 
Can you please quote the rule you broke and in your own words explain why we have such rule in place?

 
I broke rule C2.2 & G2.9, rule C2.2 being "exploiting" and rule G2.9 being "transfering money or items between your own characters". From my understanding of why you would have the rules in places is 1) it creates an unfair advantage 2) creates an unfair experience for other players 3) ruins the whole roleplaying aspect of the game 4) its a form of exploiting. I hope that sums up on what yourself and your team have in mind when creating these rules.

 
Well you do seem to have a better understanding of the rules since having read them in relation to what you've been banned for. Now you was understanding whilst being talked to and indeed was honest and held your hands up. In relation to these types of bans a few things happen, One being a full character wipe is done meaning all your money, inventory, vehicles ect will be removed. Do you agree to this?

You also have four characters currently, Three of them will be deleted. I assume you wish to keep Ewan Poyner just receiving a full wipe? If not please inform us of the character you would like to keep. 

 
Yes please I would like to keep him, thank you and sorry for any inconveniences I’ve caused. I promise you won’t see me here again appealing for an unban 

 
That's good to hear! I've gone ahead and requested the deletion of the three characters and a full wipe on Ewan Poyner. This may take some time so bare with us whilst this is taking place, However once the wipe is done we will wrap the appeal up and process the unban.
