In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for combat logging and f word usage.

Why should we unban you ?: I was in a heated gaming moment, 3rd time I got rdmed by some thugs while being a fresh player, so I got mad and used strong language while trying to combat log. I didn't mean any harm with this, just was annoyed that I got yet again rdmed, while being completly fresh. I just wanna play with some friends and try out GTARP.

When I spoke to you in game before the ban was placed, we spoke about the situation leading up to your incident and you seemed to agree with what was said.

I will outline it again here and I would like to know if you still hold the same view. You said that you were RDMed and it lead you to break the rules. Breaking rules as a response to someone else breaking rules is never the answer.

The people that you said were RDMing you, were provoked by yourself as you drove by them several times in several locations including outside the pharmacy where you started, and in legion square saying “Look at the dollar store gangsters” whenever you saw them. They eventually crashed into you and broke your vehicle, they told you to get out and put your hands up with a knife at you. You got out and started running away with no intention to roleplay and instead shouted ”Stop RDMing you f*#^+t” as they attacked you. You got stabbed and called the attackers a discriminatory slur. After you were incapacitated and placed in the car you shortly after said “don’t worry I’ll just relog”.

You logged out of that character and logged back onto the server not 2 minutes later on a new character. That’s when I pulled you for a chat about the situation.

Now, we spoke about people RDMing you in the past and we talked about recording the situation and letting it play out. You understood the idea of asking people to TeamSpeak/discord for a chat about the situation and how you could report the players on the forums for a number of things including poor RP and RDM.

We spoke about the situation you were banned for and we agreed at the time that this was not RDM as you were repeatedly provoking the “Dollar store gangsters,” before you were attacked. However, we also spoke about poor RP as the situation could have been better but would you consider your own roleplay any better in that situation and in the events leading up to the incident?

What did you expect to happen after repeatedly calling a group of people “Dollar store gangsters.”? It’s almost like you were trying to get them to chase/attack you!?

All I gotta say about the people that I interacted with, were like 2 times making a joke toward. I did not intend to burst out an RP situation. However, okay let it happen to form into an RP situation, is it really necessary to then proceed driving into my vehicle with then the further intend to just kill me and my friend? Whats the point of kidnapping/killing me anyways, I'm clearly a new player and so is my friend. Again did not mean any harm with jokingly interacting with the players and also meant no harm through my language. I said bad words but only because these random acts of RDMing/killing/violence happend before aswell, while being a new player, they made me angry and frustrated to not be able to just play the game itself (while not knowing anything). The first thing I was greeted with (my first character that day), was getting stabbed by two people in yellow clothing after reaching the waypoint (right after small tutorial/forced start/cutscene). I fully agree to my ban aswell, combat logging and usage of homophobic words is no solution to any situation.

So, you understand why you were banned and you have identified what lead you to breaking the rules in the first place.

Considering you were banned for combat logging just a few days ago, this appeal will denied. You will have to wait one month from when the ban was placed to have a chance of your appeal being accepted.

What can you do when someone else breaks a rule, to ensure it doesn’t lead to you breaking rules?

What can you do to obtain proof of others around you breaking rules?
