In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Hello. I was banned at the beginning of the year due to combat logging. I was brand new to Roleplay having just gotten my new PC and didn't understand GTA RP completely.

From what I remember, after being on the server not too long, I had gotten myself in a police chase after committing some crime, which had lasted some time. Eventually, I had crashed into a building and out of panic, I exited FiveM. I understand entirely that this was the wrong thing to do. Although it's not an excuse, as I mentioned, I was brand new to roleplay.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned as it has been over half a year since this incident occurred, and I have gained a lot of RP experience since then having played multiple other servers and receiving a better understanding of what GTA RP is all about. From the short space of time I had on this server, I had only positive experiences and would like to gain the opportunity to return to the positive RP experiences that are on this server.

I believe in being unbanned I can bring my new and improved RP to the server, making encounters enjoyable for both myself and others. As mentioned above, I have reflected on the incident and have taken full accountability for my actions. I am looking for a chance to prove myself in RPUK.

The rule you have breached here is one that is not taken lightly as it can massively ruin roleplay experience for everyone involved in the situation.
I am however glad to hear that you're wanting to return in a positive manner after gaining some more RP experience overall.

Please quote the rule you broke and explain in your own words why we have this in place on the server.

 
C2.3 - Combat logging is in place to ensure that the quality roleplay is maintained throughout scenarios and to ensure that players don’t ruin the experience for others involved in RP situations.

Please could you answer the following for me?

  • I would like you to explain your character for me, what the character development will be, what your plans/goals are if you are to get unbanned?
  • If you end up in the same situation which you combat logged in before, what would you do differently to play it out?
 
I created my character Bobbie Smith as a young scottish criminal who’s recently moved to the Los Santos area to explore the world of crime here. Bobbie had burst on to the crime scene when he found a passion for robbing luxury cars and using them to aid his escape when committing other offences.

The development I hope for Bobbie would be to explore criminality more, communicate with fellow criminals and look into how Bobbie can earn more financially from these activities and recruiting members for our newly founded group.

The situation in which I combat logged in January was after I was boxed in by firearms officers during a police chase. As I have learned this is not okay and completely against the rules, going forward I would let this RP situation play out, having had firearms pointed at me I would exit the vehicle and comply, and see how the situation plays out.

After being banned I didn’t understand how the unban process worked and didn’t bother looking too much into it, and simply began playing other servers.

There was one server in particular i’ve pretty much spent the last 6 months on, and i’ve became bored of it. I wasn’t getting much excitement or fun out of it.

As I began looking at other servers, UK themed, I came across RPUK once again. Having remembered I was still permanently banned I made the decision of actually taking the time to understand the unban process, reading the guidelines, and submitting an appeal as i’d like to return and start again on this server for the same reason we all do which is to have fun.
