In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: combat logged in the middle of a scene

Why should we unban you ?: to be honest i f8 quit of anger i was unsure and still not sure if the police are just allowed to ram me off my bike like that without any rp leading up to it. I am sorry for combat logging but I was verry frustrated and the officers didn't sound like they was going to be very nice, tbh in my opinion role play was shit what pd comes out of no where and rams you of your bike if they would of waited 10 seconds they would of had me bang to rights but i understand that if they are the rules that's how it is. I am sorry it was so frustrating and i didn't want to break character or argue if they was allowed to do that in game, I hope u can understand why i did it and if this is the way pd are allowed to be in city i will be going down a different route if allowed back as I've had some of the best rp I've ever had on fivem i nearly got sectioned by accident yesterday haha and was looking forward to try take the pd to court i was on the phone to a solicitor as i was banned 😞

You were banned for this in April, given the one month cooldown.

  • How come you never appealed this earlier?
  • What have you been up to since?
  • What would you have done differently?

i f8 quit in the middle of scene witch isn't the way to deal with things and isn't acceptable under any circumstances , this ruins roleplay for everyone involved and sets a bad example.

sorry to edit ive overlooked half of your reply to be honest, this is my first time using a forum.

in the month i was banned i  spent a lot off time in scora rp and decided to stay there for a while as for what I'd of done different i would of persevered and took the necessary steps once the scene was over.

Why should we entertain this appeal when you arent even putting effort into the replies/original appeal and not answering all the questions being asked to you?

@Dom FletcherCan you talk me through the situation that led to your character being downed and you then logging off in as much detail as possible including why you decided to f8 quit instead of continuing the roleplay.

You mention in your original appeal you believe the police broke a rule/ provided you with bad roleplay, do you think that makes it acceptable for you to then break rules yourself?

 
tbh this was a while ago and to the of my knowledge i was just corner selling i had even got off my bike and made a deal and they came out of no where and rammed me right of the bike id just bought and id just spent a lot being used as an hostage and just was so fed up and angry rather then break character or be toxic i f8 quit. I know how this simple mistake can leave to other people feeling the same way and it isn't the right thing to do in any situation and is never acceptable 

 
@Sirenany updates i understand unbans are at the bottom of priority but I'm eager to get back into city hope you understand

If you've read the rules how come you can't even follow the simple rules of unban appeals?

 
i am sorry,  i was just hoping to get it sorted before i go back to work and it times out or i look like i dont care.

Rules are there to be followed, i understand you are eager however unban appeals are staffs lowest priority and you need to be patient and wait for your response.

I want you to do the following for me:

  • Quote me the rule you have broken directly from the rules page.
  • Explain it in your OWN words
  • Tell me why you think this is an important rule on the server
 
Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

combat logging is when you disconnect from the server in a scene

combat logging is one of the most important rules in any server with out it the server would simply not work i understand the importance of this and the implications it can have if not followed

Still dont think you understand combat logging.

It isnt just when you disconnect from the server during a scene, it is when you disconnect from the server during any active roleplay scenario you are involved in including when you have been downed and are waiting to either respawn or get medical treatment.
