Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I was being chased by a car and when it crashed I combat logged to prevent myself from dying/being robbed which is strictly against the rules.

Why should we unban you ?: I will not try to cover up and lie, I was being chased and I combat logged and it is completely my fault. Since my ban it has now been a month I have carefully read the rules, admittedly I was new to this server and I rushed into playing without fully reading the rules. If given a second chance I can assure you I will not repeat this mistake, or break any other rule.

I've met many great people and had many great experiences, I would really like another chance to prove that I am different now and ready to play here again.

So you combat logged to prevent roleplay from happening and or continue to it's logical outcome, Why do you believe this was acceptable to do in the first place? 

Instead of returning you decided to come back to the server and make a new character, Why was this?

I honestly don't know why I thought it was acceptable, I thought I could do this with no repercussions as an easy escape that nobody could do anything about and I was completely wrong. This is not an apology for being caught, but rather an apology for breaking the rules of the server which is not acceptable.

As for rejoining the server and making a new character it was for the same reason of preventing the roleplay from happening, instead of joining back and possibly still being confronted by the guys who were chasing me I thought it would be a good idea to all in my starter money in the casino for fun but was banned before being able to do so.

These were very stupid and immature actions from me, and all I can do is put my hands up and say sorry once more.

So with this in mind, How can we be sure that this won't happen should we allow you another chance within the community? 

The whole premise is to roleplay with others regardless of the outcome if it goes your way or not. In relation to going straight to the casino with the starter money, Can you not see the issue with this?

Sorry for the late reply,

I will not let this happen again if I were to be given a second chance, I have taken the time to read the rules properly and I am ready to play again properly. I understand that roleplay does not always go the way one wants it to, and the correct thing to do is to play through all of it no matter how tough it gets. I hope to use this mindset to bring a better version of myself to the community.

Can you please quote the rule you broke to get here and explain in your own words why you believe we have such a rule in place?

(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

This is a serious roleplay server and combat logging is anything but that. It is exploiting as it could be used to save anything on your character or to save time and so it is strictly unacceptable. As I said before roleplay can put your character in difficult situations and regardless of what happens combat logging should not be exploited as a quick escape.

Since you seem to have a better understanding of the rules and mentioned you won't be doing anything like this moving forward I'll extend the olive branch and give you another opportunity. Please don't take it to lightly as if you end up banned within a 6 month period following the Fair bans system, You'd end up right back here and the appeals process won't be as simple next time around (Should this even happen). 

Take what you've done and learn from it and as you mentioned "I hope to use this mindset to bring a better version of myself to the community." Words can only get you so far as actions do speak volumes. Don't let us down and we hope not to see you back in this section moving forth.
