Why do you think you were banned: Assuming based on the post in #announcements, I would presume it's to do with 3rd person shooting from a vehicle. Whilst I won't say I've never accidentally done so. I cannot think of a single time where I intentionally used 3rd person shooting to gain an edge. Especially seen as neither of my characters regularly shoot in the first place, let alone from vehicles. I'm afraid I cannot give any further context to when/why I did so.
Why should we unban you: I've been on RPUK so far, between two characters, for little over a year. I believe in that time I have shown to be a person very willing to RP, and being able to do so (in my opinion) to a pretty decent standard.

Throughout my year, I do not believe I've done much of anything to make staff displeased with myself. I am rather upset that something like this is now hindering my ability to roleplay on RPUK. I've done as much as I can to have fun RP and provide fun RP to the rest of the server. I can only hope that I'll be able to play again and continue the lives of my characters and continue to have fun RP on the server.

So you're saying the three times this month alone didn't give you an advantage?

You have been caught on an automatic system exploiting this.
I'm gonna need a lot more effort and a lot more honesty from you.
 
I'm being completely honest when I tell you that I have absolutely 0 recollection of a single time within the last month, outside of G6 training earlier this week, of even shooting at another player from 3rd person within a vehicle. I'm not even sure if I have shot a single person from a vehicle in the last month period.

During training, I do believe there were some shots taken at eachother using practice pistols, but I do not believe that I fired any shots whilst in third person. I'd pull my pistol out to get ready to shoot, which would sometimes put me into third person, yes. I do however not believe that I took any shots in this state, instead letting go of right click first and aiming again, before properly opening fire.

I'm gonna need a lot more effort and a lot more honesty from you.

I swear to you that I am being completely honest, and have been throughout this appeal.
In terms of effort, I am not quite sure how I would do so, as I can only give the information I have, and concerning this issue the information I have and when/why I did things wrong, is rather limited as I once again do not believe to have used third person shooting to gain an unfair advantage at any time.

As you say, you've been a part of this community for a fair amount of time now - I would assume throughout this time that you would know shooting from vehicles if First Person mode.
Are you telling us that you do not recall ANY time whatsoever where you have physically shot from a vehicle using third person perspective?

You may already know, we do not push these kind of bans for no reason.

Having had a week to be bored and have nothing to do now, I've had plenty time to look back and ponder this.

I believe I did during training, mainly just messing around with friends of popping their tires as they arrived/drove back. I also think I might've used this on locals a fair few times. I do apologize that this didn't come to mind immediately, upon writing my appeal I was genuinely certain that I hadn't used this. Now, whilst I do realise I was wrong concerning this, I do still completely stand by my statement of never having used third person shooting to gain the upper hand on another person in an actual situation.

Basically to sum up, I do believe that I did in fact use it, but I can say with certainty that I haven't used this to gain the upper hand on another player in an actual situation. I realise that even though it was training, I shouldn't have, but as it was just messing around with friends, everything was done with training pistols and just aiming at tires to mess with one another at Fort Zancudo, I do not believe it to have ever affected the course of RP to any extent.

To be quite frank with you, I'm incredibly annoyed that something like that would be the reason I haven't been able to play RPUK at all. I've always prided myself on providing good RP and having fun with it, and realise that even if its against locals/with friends, it's not something that should be done, and I know that damned well.

The reason I did in the first place is just a case of it accidentally happening and figuring "eh, its whatever", due to the context of the situation not having been seen as serious by myself at the time.

I'm glad you've managed to remember these situations after some thought into the matter, I just can't understand why.
You've mentioned that you knew you shouldn't have done it, which I would naturally expect after how long you've been within the community so apart from your "Eh, it's whatever" thought I don't really understand why you would purposely breach the exploiting rule?

If it was somewhat easy for you on this occasion, how can I be sure moving forward that we wouldn't come across something like this in the future?

To be entirely honest, like stated, it was just a case of "eh, its not a serious thing so it doesn't matter." Naturally, now that I've kind of been hit in the face with the consequences of my actions, I will make incredibly sure to never do it again. I just didn't think much of it, and reality has come around and slapped me in the face with the realization that I should've thought more of it.

It was simply a case of it accidentally happening (ending up in third person due to being just a tad too quick with aiming), which admittedly happens quite often, but just not thinking much of it in this specific situation, and thus, not bothering to correct it.

The entire truth is that despite me acting very aloof in this case of it just being messing around with friends, I do take the rules very seriously and very much see the need for all of them to make sure the server remains fun and balanced and that no player has any unfair advantage over another, whether it be a serious situation or not.

I appreciate your honest with this, I have noted that most of these instances were you in training with training weapons although you've still broken the rules regardless.
You've now been in this community for over a year, this is your first ban on record as up until now you've managed to keep your nose clean.

Hopefully, and by what you've said so far you have managed to learn a lesson from this and will be more careful moving forward to ensure you don't breach any further rules and end up back here.
As per the FBS, any ban you receive now within the next 6 months will be a permanent - Please don't waste this chance.
