In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned due to comments I made to other players during an argument. These comments included the actions this player had committed with members of staff and further comments were made that included the staff in question, these comments presumably had offense taken to them.
Why should we unban you ?: I realise that the comments I made could have affected the staff members in question (Bowen & Stavik) as after seeing what was said they may and presumably did take offense to them. I would just like to state in this apology that I didn't bring those two up to offend them, it was intended to get a reaction from the opposing party in the argument. As for what Bowen said my appeal prior to this I believe I said something along the lines of "Bowen ramming his dick down your throat" if not that it was something similar, I am no longer in that chat and this argument did happen a couple of months ago. I don't tend to cause drama in the community because I know I can easily get wrapped up in it. I have occasional arguments with friends as a laugh but tend to stay out of the bigger arguments OOC as they can lead to unnecessary comments and insults being said, this being a prime example of which.
Whilst here I would like to formally apologise to both Stavik and Bowen for bringing their names and actions into the argument, as stated what was said was not intended to offend either of you or damage your likeness by any means but understandably these comments did have an effect on you either angering or insulting you to which I do apologise. I've never had an issue with either of you in the past prior to this incident so it was childish of me to allow my emotions towards a situation to get the better of me, especially an argument with people I don't even personally know. I've had many laughs with Bowen in the server through the use of his different characters, whilst we didn't know each other on our characters or OOC I was aware that it was him and quite liked his approach to RP through him wanting to have a laugh with those around the community that could do with a decent joke from time to time.
In terms of Stavik, him and I never really had a relationship with him in anyway but also never had issues with him as we barely know each other just had mutual friends in game and OOC through an old member of the Noble family. If Stavik and I had met in game at some point on his other characters, I didn't have any issues with him then and still don't now. I had let my anger get the better of me in this argument whilst trying to stand up for my friend and was pointing out that the person on the opposing side of this conflict had done something I didn't agree with and kept saying things along the lines of "being on your best behaviour" and calling them things such as a "lap dog trying to score brownie points" after being unbanned themselves. I realise how immature and stupid the things I said where, I was trying to stick up for someone when I should have not inserted myself in this argument as it had nothing to do with me.
I've never had an issue with a member of Staff on the server so have no reason to create drama like this. In this scenario I was annoyed that my friend was getting attacked for seemingly no reason and was annoyed that a lot of my friends were banned from the server. I understand why they were banned and what they had done was wrong so shouldn't have reacted the way I did, I was not the one that got banned at this point so had no reason to act out. Even when banned I didn't act out, I was confused but accepted what had happened and reached out to Stavik to try and find out what my reason was. My messaged stated I was not messaging him to "chat shit just to ask the reason then leave it be". As I know a decent few of those who were banned caused a lot of drama towards staff in DM's and public discords or tickets.
I didn't think this was necessary and knew that going out of my way to cause drama through dm's and such just weren't the right thing to do as its unwarranted as were my comments during this dispute. If I am allowed back into this community, I'll not let my emotions get the better of me like I did on this occasion as when these things happen it never turns out well. I will always take a step back and bite my tongue allowing myself to cool down and assess the situation rather than jumping in headfirst. Throughout my time in this community my relationship with staff was always good, never any issues, was included in a report once to which I was taken out of after discussing it with those reporting the situation as it was a result of miscommunication on our behalf, as previously stated was banned for an in-game bug that I did not purposely commit. I had always attempted to maintain a good relationship with staff however I could and was always as honest as I could be with them, there is even an occasion of me making a ticket regarding a bug that occurred where one of my weapons had duplicated, I know this whole situation does outweigh my past actions and wrecks my image, but I can assure you after taking the time away from the community and not getting involved in petty childlike drama that I am the same person I used to be and will prove that if given another chance, I promise that to both the community and to myself. Cutting out the childish behaviour and petty drama that follows, rebuilding the bridges I have burnt with those my actions effected. If Stavik and Bowen are willing to accept my apology and gradually build those bridges up with the two of them however I can and however they deem adequate. That is if they are willing to allow me that chance and if the rest of the community is willing to give me another chance. Many thanks, Ste.
