Why should we unban you ?: Good evening,

I have received a notice stating that my appeal has been denied due to the belief that I was ban evading. However, this is not true as the account which was linked in my previous appeal has only been used twice and the last sign-on was 20 days ago. This was around the 17/18th which was 11 days before my ban.

This account also has 2FA which has not alerted me to any new activity.

I have been honest and forthright about my mistakes and actions. Something like this would fly right in the face of everything I have said and only make it more unlikely I would get unbanned.

This photo also shows my willingness to make myself available for any conversation and/or action that needed to be taken against me. My PC roles were then promptly removed after sending this msg.

I have then spoken to a member of staff regarding this but there was not much to be done as they are not dealing with my appeal. I was advised that I should open up another appeal. I was not keen on this idea as I am genuinely remorseful of my ban and have read and re-read the rules to make an appropriate return to the server so I never stray out of line again.

I am available to speak if anyone is available as I am keen to prove my innocence in regard to this ban evasion.

Good afternoon,

I have personally found out information as to why you think I was ban evading.

This provides zero context to the situation. It is disappointing to see someone I thought was a "friend" portray me in such a manner or hopefully someone has taken his words out of context too. I know this is circulating through groups and eventually came to me. I know which groups they have passed through before reaching me.

This is the most of the logs of the conversation. My comments were regarding my friend BxN having a conversation about playing on the server still, not me playing while being banned.

I have removed everyone from this group chat so if any admins want to join and read the full thing they can.

Once this appeal unlocks please tell me, if you cannot even follow the simple unban appeal rules, how are you going to be able to comply with server rules if we even decided to let you back in?
Why should we continue entertaining this appeal?

Thank you for sending a message during the cooldown and spending extra time on my appeal.

In regards to the bumping, it was not my intent to come across that I was trying to get a quicker reply. I just found out important information that I thought might be relevant to my appeal and thought it would be significant enough to not constitute getting classed as just a comment to just get higher up the appeal list. I also reread the rule to clarify this for myself:

3. If you "bump" your appeal (adding extra comments) or keep asking; “when will I be unbanned” we reserve the right to deny the request.

Thinking about it I could have edited my initial post and had a new section for my new findings, I just hadn't thought of that at the time. I am sorry about causing extra work for you.

I hopefully have articulated sufficiently in all my posts that I am trying to be open and transparent. I do hope you continue to look through my appeal.

In regards to Liam's reply, I am sorry I wasted your time as well, as you had to lock my appeal. I will diligently await any further replies from staff which I will reply to and not add comments until then.

In terms of my "csgo smurf" attempting to connect to the server. I have done as much research as I could not knowing all the information. I have included tracking login details for that account (I would happily share this live so it can be proven it isn't edited):

Firstly, I live nowhere near Great Marton as most people know I live near London. However, after checking through the Steam Guard app it does show my IP address as coming from Great Marton. I have no answer for this and it is not something I have done myself. 

Secondly, as you will know I routinely check if I've been unbanned by trying to join through fivem, this may be another reason to explain this login attempt and I am curious if the reason why it was an "attempted login" as that could be due to being logged into my discord, not the smurfs and accidentally tried connecting while on my csgo smurf. I do not know if this is taboo but I will stop trying to log into the server until I have read on the appeal I have been unbanned, so there are no further incidents via this possible method.

Thirdly, I have never logged into my discord on this computer. I'm unsure if you can track this but that should prove I was not trying to log in to circumvent the ban, as my discord identifier wouldnt have been there.

Lastly, I have ejected all accounts associated with "csgo smurf" so if there was another IP trying to connect that will not be possible either via this method. I am sorry for the extra hassle I have probably caused in regards to this ban evasion.

If you have any other questions or require any more evidence to be shown to any staff I would be happy to do so via TS or Discord. I do have screenshots of my IP address showing its location. I can DM you those photos if you ask me to do so.

In terms of my original appeal, I felt I sufficiently answered the questions you had at the time. If you do have any more I would be happy to answer them. I am unsure if either staff members who are dealing with my appeal are aware but I have now lost all privileges in regards to my police character. I understand this and believe it's deserved and would be happy for that character to be wiped and not return. 

I have also been demoted from a senior park ranger on Sam which I can also understand as I have access to privileged information. I don't know the extent of this as I might be completely removed as a ranger but this causes me great distress as I felt there was a lot of potential for my character down that avenue.

If I am allowed to return to the community that will be one of my priorities to return as a senior park ranger and progress further within the organisation.

Looking at the screenshots in my appeal I hope it comes across that when I said "yea hehehe" when asked about being banned, it was supposed to come across that whoops I fucked up. For the comment after ("but I still play though") this was regarding the prior conversation about whether people were still playing on the server.

This entire process has made me realise how stupid I was being. Especially when my actions don't even affect my overall wealth and only serve as a reminder that you will always get caught eventually and put into jeopardy all my genuine hard work. The time away already has caused more than just monetary loss but rifts in business opportunities, friendships, loss of positions of power, months of cultivated RP down the drain and probably more that I am unaware of. 

I hold myself to a higher standard in terms of my work ethic as I have been working towards some quite lofty ambitions. I want to remedy this too, as there is no point in changing the server for someone who breaks the rules.

You might be thinking how can I maintain the rules if sometimes I go ahead with a plan without thinking? I will be self-imposing a one-character limit in regards to joining/interacting with the police so to clarify I will not create a police character again until Sam Stone's story is done.

I am in no position to ask but I hope you forgive me and allow me to return as Sam. I am truly remorseful for my actions as the cascade of events gets felt even more every day I am away from the city. 

As stated in my previous appeal, from the bottom of my heart I promise that I will never knowingly break or bend the rules again. I will return as an exemplary member of the community and will continue on the road to redemption to prove I will stay on the straight and narrow.

I don't understand why you would keep attempting to connect to the server to see if you're unbanned? You're very clearly on a permanent ban for breaching serious server rules, so why would you so suddenly be unbanned without an appeal active?
You knew what you were doing with your "CSGO Smurf account", you've attempted to connect to the server in hope of ban evading whilst awaiting an appeal but was blocked and couldn't connect. What I would like to know is; why did you attempt to connect truthfully?
We're giving you a chance to be honest in this appeal, if we do not get that then the chances of us entertaining it any further will be absolutely minimal.

As per the transferring money between characters, you stated you knew this would get you banned but had chosen to purposely ignore the rule and do it anyway...
Why did you do it? To gain an advantage over others? Holding hope you would not get caught?

Good morning @Danoo, I am doing well. I appreciate the time you spent on my appeal,

Why would I keep trying to join the server whilst on a permanent ban?
It was more along the lines that I was hoping to see that I was unbanned one day, as I've had an active appeal going on since I was banned. It was nothing malicious but I was just hoping that I would be forgiven.

You say I knew what I was doing on my csgo account, this is simply untrue. I have been open and truthful about every single detail. This does not make sense for me then to try and ban evade after providing screenshots and tracking information in regards to my joining the server. This is also backed up by the fact I've made myself completely available to punishments via ts so those permissions can be removed.

I genuinely did not try to ban evade.

It was a foolish mistake. I only did it because it would have just made things more manageable so I could pay people quicker. It doesn't affect the overall wealth of my character.

Sitting here now I don't mind that I was caught as it would have ruined the city for me as it would have ruined all my hard work. I do want to be unbanned and I know I have to go through a process for that. 

I deeply regret my actions as they undermine my integrity and cheapen the hard work I've put into the server.

You had transferred the money between characters because you believed it would make things more manageable BUT.... You knew you were breaching server rules by doing so but proceeded to continue with it anyway.
Personally, I do not believe you are sorry. I believe you are sorry that we managed to catch you doing this, therefore have come forward to the appeals section.

Your ban has not been in place long, if you are serious on wanting to return to the server then I'd like for you to spend a bit of time away to properly think over what happened in terms of rule breaks.
