Altis Life UK is a serious roleplay community, If you are coming from another Altis Life community please erase that memory from your mind as things are much different here and very much focused around RP rather than combat.[/SIZE]

To start we would like to make clear that this is a friendly community, An adult community and we expect every user to show respect to each other. Do not take things outside the server/onto the forums, or god forbid real life![/SIZE]

Upon entering the server you are greeted with the above splash screen which advises you of this rule page, This is the only warning you will receive here, If you find yourself banned then please to read about the appeal process. All bans are appealable apart from the rules that state otherwise.
The Admins put a lot of hours into this project and these rules, and our ban process is setup in a way which is consistent to all members; one we believe that is fair and one that needs the least amount of administration time so we can focus on the things that really matter.
With that being said and the rules listed below the vast majority of our members who have been here over a year now have never been reported or banned. We are fair and at the end of the day this has been setup for enjoyment and a really good experience in a nice environment so people can meet and make really good friends!
[SIZE=medium]We are very proud to be an Adult community. It certainly doesn't mean you have to be over 18 to play here however you will find a lot of our members are. We respect the younger people and elders in our community and no discrimination will be tolerated.[/SIZE]

1A) Bullying is punished by a permanent ban without appeal[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
1B) Racism is punished by a permanent ban without appeal[/SIZE]

1C) Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and punished by a ban[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
1D) An admin may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
1E) Any threat to any person or the community a ban will be issued and depending on the context of the threat we will fully assist the UK police with their enquires.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium] [/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Unfortunately there are people out there that are not here to enjoy the natural game and instead are here to either cheat/exploit/hack or leave the game to avoid RP.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]With some going the full length of breaking the law and dos/ddos attacking our community.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
With that in mind, all of the below carry a permanent ban without appeal.[/SIZE]
2A) Using a cheat engine / script or hack of any kind even those that may not be considered harmful like graphical enhancement utilities (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal)
2B) DOS/DDOS Attacks if we find out you’re responsible or you threaten to attack the community in any shape or form (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal with Police involvement)
2C) Triggering our ALUK anti-hack system or appearing in our logging system, apart from warning messages/known false flags. (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal)
2D) Using known exploits such as looting dead bodies, any duplication of items, duplication of money, using the Anti-VDM script to regain full health, landing on the roof of drug processors, working with Bounty hunters to exploit money from the wanted system, using the ‘Flip Vehicle’ feature outside normal usage (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal)
2E) Logging/Combat logging at any point where you are in RP is exploiting. Some examples of this: during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting medic, logging to save gear, logging while ziptied (Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal*)
*Appeals are allowed if you have made the effort to go on teamspeak and speak to the person/persons you were with to advise of a valid reason, or if you have signed back into the game and contacted them in game and made the full effort to relink up with them to continue roleplay, The person/persons should vouch for you in the appeal.
[SIZE=medium]As mentioned above and all over our community and server everything here is about the roleplay experience. With that in mind we have rules around role play and what we consider poor RP and RP Rules that will get you banned. Please re-read these rules until they become second nature to you.[/SIZE]

3A) VDM - Vehicle Death Match Definition:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Using your vehicle for running people over, using it to ram into other vehicles in and outside combat, using a vehicle with the purpose of making it explode are all considered a form of VDM here (Punishment is a ban) [/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]However using the following vehicles to immobilise each other (eg. Hunter VS Ifrit or Strider VS Ifrit etc) is permitted in roleplay for whitelisted factions or people in ownership of a rebel membership - Hunter/Strider/Ifrit[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
3B) RDM - Random Death Match Definition:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
3C) Trolling - The following examples are considered trolling however there are multiple others so we advise common sense.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Running around the police/medics/anyone, throwing yourself in front of vehicles, playing music in any chat or on teamspeak, bombarding the messaging system, buying multiple vehicles to block spawn areas or using them to blow things up, jumping off buildings without RP,spamming the vote admin or vote kick system, talking/playing music in the lobby screen, playing soundboards/voice changers ingame and open TS channels (Punishment is a ban, or a unappealable ban depending on the admins decision).[/SIZE]

3D) Microphone only servers[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Altis Life UK Servers are Microphone only, If you do not have a microphone then unfortunately this is not the community for you.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Quality roleplay can only be achieved with a microphone so anyone caught on our servers using direct chat to type or RP will be warned/kicked and if they come back and proceed to not use a microphone then will be issued a ban (Punishment kick/ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Exceptions: OOC (Out of Character) information is allowed. Such as telling someone how to put their hands on their head. Example: Tell them hands up, then if they do not, type the following in the chat: “//Press Shift J in order to raise your hands.” (// Signifies Out of Character)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Using the group/sidechat to type is allowed (for questions, not for RP information e.g “I am robbing the bank” OR “player x is in Kavala”)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]If you are able to, please notify new people to the server that this is a microphone only server, in the event that they begin not following this rule. Also inform them to press escape and press the website button, then click the read the rules button. We do not want to ban new people to the game, as they may have no idea about these rules.[/SIZE]

3E) Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. Please use the forums or teamspeak to report or discuss only (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Exception: You may contact someone using the text system if they are not on teamspeak or on the forums. Please only attempt to make this contact in effort to resolve the issue, not to antagonise the other player/users/members.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
3F) Trading [/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Altis Life UK does not condone any sort of real life to ingame trading or vice versa. This is due to the fact that we do not want to be looking like a commercial entity, or any of our members for that case. You are free to donate on behalf of a member as an act of kindness, but not in return for an item. Bad Example: “Whoever wants donator send me 2 million in cash.”[/SIZE]
Exception: “I am having a cross Altis race, winner will receive a free donator package for one month!” (Please authorise with an admin if you wish to do this, or we may see it as selling VIP.)
3G) Idling
We have the busiest Altis Life server in the world therefore if you need to goto the shops or go away from your PC for more than 5 minutes then please kindly disconnect from the server.
3H) Restraining & Zipties
If you have been restrained or Ziptied you are no longer able to use any communication to contact your friends or gang members, This includes: group chat/teamspeak/skype or any other way of communication.
3I) Teleporting
Once you have spawned in you are unable to respawn unless you have been killed or stuck in a position due to a bug (please take screenshots), For example you cannot respawn to get to another location quicker - Punishment is a ban

Using 999 to warn police[/SIZE]

You are unable to use 999 to warn the police for example "“Any cops seen within ‘x’km will be shot on site”[/SIZE]

3K) Own gang hostages[/SIZE]

You are unable to take your own gang member/s hostage[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
3L) Police Sirens[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]When the Police put on their sirens lights to pull you over to attend to a scene this doesnt mean RP has initiated on their point, if you shoot without engaging in RP then this is classed as RDM[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Here at Altis Life UK we take roleplay seriously, we do not allow metagaming on any of our Altis Life Servers that we host. Below are examples of what we see as metagaming, but as a rule of thumb, metagaming is the act of using information that your character would not know to influence your characters actions/reactions inside the game.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Metagaming will result in a ban ranging to a perm ban in some cases. (This is at the admin’s discretion)[/SIZE]

4A) Using or broadcasting intelligence on sidechat or teamspeak to influence actions in game.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4B) You are not allowed to identify players in game via nametags. Police, NHS and UNMC ranks (only ranks!) are fine to get, as they “wear clothing with the rank on” unless they are undercover. (Not in their uniform or masked.)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4C) Using tilde key for anything other than identifying people who break rules[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4D) Scouting teamspeak to see what police/rebels are doing (e.g. Seeing police are in Bank/Hostage operation room, then acting on this information)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4E) If you are restrained and communications have been removed you must not be active on any other forms of communications other than direct chat[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4F) If you or your gang normally use a squad.xml logo then you must use this at all times on the server. When wearing your gang logo you are able to be recognised as a member of the gang by other players on the server.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4G) Using the my.altislife.co.uk stats page to gain information about players or gangs and then use that information ingame is considered metagaming.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
4H) Stream sniping is bannable, if you are on the server or have a friend on the server do not watch someone who is live streaming on our server and use their location information or information from that stream to meet up with them/kill them etc (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
A new life means that your character has lost all previous memories. It still is the character you play, i.e. it is still part of the rebels or cops and it still knows all his friends. Your character just forgets the events and information leading up to their death.
The only exception to this is your wanted level. In our latest release bounty levels are now persistent over deaths to enable long winded police chases and bounty hunter chases... Without this we wont have police and bounty hunters tracking down the person and the person being on the run for weeks/days.
Example: Matt, John and Ben are rebels who try to rob the bank. During the shootout with the cops, Matt and Ben die, John get's arrested and spends some time in jail. When they all meet again, they all would roleplay the situation in a way that they all tried to get away, because they realized that they couldn't handle the situation. Matt and Ben got away, though John got caught. If the players want to have the deaths involved, they might tell stories of other rebels that died there, who were with them initially.

5A) A new life starts, when[/SIZE]

5B) A new life does not start when[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Your character has been the victim of a clear case of RDM/VDM[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]You disconnect (end of session)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
5C) You are not allowed to seek revenge when you die![/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
5D) You are not allowed to return within 1000m of where you was killed within 15 minutes after you have been killed![/SIZE]

Green zones are in main cities (usually popular and busy) which are a friendly and safe area for people to roleplay in without the usual hassle of being robbed/killed.
The VIP/Donator zone is also a green zone and the same rules apply.
Blue zones are around Police stations, In the past before the bluezone people would go into the Police area and just shoot at the police which isn't fun and isn't roleplay.
However Green zones are not safe havens, if you are chased into one by the Police they will taze and arrest you.

6A) You are unable to kill anyone in a green zone (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

6B) You are unable to kill anyone in a blue zone (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

6C) Weapons must be holstered inside green and blue zones at all times.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
6D) You are unable to rob/knockout anyone in a green or blue zone (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

6E) You are unable to steal vehicles in a green or blue zone (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

6F) If you are in active combat you are unable to run into the green zone to avoid being killed/robbed (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]The bounty hunter licence is a route of life. You can either go with the legal way of a bounty hunter or the illegal way of a rebel membership. If you go with the bounty hunter licence and get sent to prison you will lose the licence.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Having the bounty hunter licence gives you access to the wanted list where you can purchase tips of the wanted person's last known location… And that’s where your journey should start![/SIZE]

7A) Bounty hunters must wear the bounty hunter uniform at all times while on duty. Making an arrest without the correct uniform is against server rules (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
7B) Bounty hunters may not game the system e.g. getting a friend to get a wanted level/bounty price and then arresting them and collecting the bounty - this is considered exploiting (Punishment is a permanent ban)[/SIZE]

7C) Bounty hunters may not metagame (see metagaming rules - Punishments apply). You must use role play to ask for the persons name, however they may not be truthful to you due to your uniform. We will list some of the many possibilities of roleplaying this below.[/SIZE]

- Hire a civilian friend or recruit some hobos to approach people and ask their name.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
- Ask the person to kindly stay there while you call the police to your location, or ask if they will come to the police station with you if you have reason to believe they are not who they say they are (nervous voice/acting shady). It is important you do not restrain them for this.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
- Follow them until you hear them say their name to someone, or someone calls them by their name.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
- Speak to civilians if they have seen or spoke to a certain person today and their last known location.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
7D) Bounty hunters are not above the law, therefore they must listen to Police officers, Unlike bounty hunters, police officers do not get the bounty money. Therefore if they give instructions, they are doing it for everyone's best interests and not their own.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]The ARAC are the servers breakdown service. It is a role to help people and role play a mechanic, so in order to prevent abuse we have some rules surrounding this licence.[/SIZE]

8A) ARAC members must be wearing the uniform while they are performing ARAC duties.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
8B) ARAC members must be using the ARAC offroad while they are performing ARAC duties.[/SIZE]

8C) ARAC members should not use the ARAC system to target players when they are at their most vulnerable, i.e. broken down in the middle of nowhere and asking for assistance. When not playing as a ARAC member, you must not acknowledge any messages sent via this system.[/SIZE]

8D) ARAC Members are not allowed to perform any illegal activities (robbing/stealing/killing) when they are in uniform. It is a purely role play activity.[/SIZE]
Being a Taxi Driver on the server is another of our unique roleplaying opportunities to help and interact with other players when they require transport from A to B. We have rules in place so people do not abuse having this licence.

9A) Taxi Driver’s must be using the Taxi while they are performing Taxi Driver duties.[/SIZE]

9B) Taxi Driver’s should not use the Taxi Driver system to target players when they are at their most vulnerable, i.e. broken down in the middle of nowhere and asking for assistance. When not playing as a Taxi Driver, you must not acknowledge any messages sent via this system.[/SIZE]

10A) All police must be on mic and on Teamspeak, If your mic is not working or you're not on teamspeak then do not connect to the server
10B) Police may not sell their equipment
10C) Rubber bullets and tazers must be used unless lethal force orders are given from a high ranking officer
10D) Police must keep a high level of role play at all times. Police are not admins so do not say "I am reporting you", there is a similar rule for civilians and other factions on the server.
10E) Police can play Civilian/Medic and Bounty Hunters while off-duty however you must not deal with anyone in your "gang" while on duty, please call in another police unit.
10F) Do not buy vehicles as a police officer then switch to a civilian to use them.
10G) CSO's and PCSO’s are not to be taken as hostages.
10H) Police are not allowed to execute players. There is no excuse for this. (Punishment is a ban)

11A) Medics are not allowed to follow gangs or police around. Please patrol the full island of Altis or whatever hospital area you have been assigned to.[/SIZE]

11B) If attending to a crime scene, consult with the nearest police officer. If all the police are dead and there are gang members or rebels present and they shout out "DO NOT REVIVE" then please accept that request and leave the area asap.[/SIZE]

11C) Do not buy vehicles as a medic then switch to civilian and use them.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
11D) If another NHS medic is already on the scene, ask them if they need help before running in to take their potential revive payments.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]UNMC are the servers official whitelisted rebels. They recruit high quality roleplayers and focus all their gameplay around serious RP, therefore they have some rules surrounding RP/Combat with them.[/SIZE]

12A) Roleplay initiation must be made with the UNMC at their base before an attack on the base can start, otherwise it will be considered RDM (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

12B) UNMC clothing is unique to the people who have worked hard to become a part of the servers whitelisted rebels, therefore you are not allowed to wear/use it (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

12C) UNMC may only rob the bank once per day[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium] [/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]
12D) UNMC may not allow civilians to drive there whitelisted vehicles (strider) nor may they list them on Abay[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]The treasury is where all the gold reserves of the island are kept, robbing this is a big operation and requires some well thought out tactics and plans. It is brilliant for roleplay and also combat and can be very rewarding, however there are some strict rules.[/SIZE]
13A) There needs to be 10 Police officers online, please check this before turning up. The vault is coded so it won’t open if there is less than 10 police online so it will be a waste of your time.

13B) Filling your vehicle up with gold bars from the treasury without going outside the building is considered exploiting (Punishment is a permanent ban)[/SIZE]
13C) The Police will always send in a unarmed negotiator in a marked police car who will drive up to the entrance and make himself known. This is part of the treasury robbery process. You can either start roleplay with the negotiator, or decline negotiations by asking him to leave. You cannot kill him - he must leave, and if killed it is bannable. You also may not kidnap the negotiator.
13D) When the blasting charge has been planted it is considered that any opportunity for negotiation is over. After this the police may try to storm the building with armed police. At this point any combat is not considered RDM
13E) You may not write in sidechat that you are robbing the bank. This is your operation with the friends/members that are there with you. You may not call for backup, only those on site at the beginning of the heist may take part.
13F) Any police who we find have logged out on purpose to bring the number of police down to under 10 will be banned.
There are NPC’s around the map that can be robbed. Some examples of this are the Royal Bank Of Altis / Fuel Stations / Newsagents. Sometimes the police will attend before you manage to run away with the cash so there are some rules around that.

14A) There needs to be 5 Police officers online to start a robbery. It is coded this way so make sure there is enough police online before considering a robbery.[/SIZE]

14B) If the police turn up do not just open fire as this is considered RDM (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

14C) Police will come at speaking distance from the building and initiate roleplay. This is your chance to role play back or advise that you have no demands. This will end the role play and combat may start.[/SIZE]

15A) Sometimes jets may spawn with ammo. We have logs for this and if anyone uses the ammo in the jet they will be banned, and the jet deleted from their account (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]

15B) You are allowed to drive on the runways, however anyone purposely driving in front a jet taking off or landing will be considered as VDM (Punishment is a ban)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Unfortunately, other Altis Life servers (or people with community websites) have abused the fact we are popular, advertising on our website/teamspeak & servers in the past for their own gains. Because of this we have strict rules around it.[/SIZE]

16C) [SIZE=medium]Advertising your teamspeak on our servers/website/teamspeak or social media groups is bannable other than TS.AltisLife.co.uk (Punishment is a permanent community ban without appeal)[/SIZE]
16D) [SIZE=medium]Advertising your server/servers on our servers/website/teamspeak or social media groups is bannable other than TS.AltisLife.co.uk (Punishment is a permanent community ban without appeal)[/SIZE]
16E) [SIZE=medium]Advertising your server/teamspeak/community/websites via the forum private messaging system is bannable (Punishment is a permanent community ban without appeal)[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]AltisLife.co.uk has a very highly trusted Admin team who give up a lot of their time to make the servers enjoyable and the best roleplay experience you will find. They are not here to be abused or sworn at, Here are some rules connected to the admin team.[/SIZE]

17A) Any decision the Admin(s) state is final.[/SIZE]

17B) Abuse/swearing or unpleasant behaviour towards the Admin team is not acceptable (Punishment is a community ban without appeal)[/SIZE]

17C) When ingame, the Admins wear their special ‘Tron Suit’ when they are on official duty only. Please ignore that they are there unless they ask you a question or to do something.[/SIZE]

17D) Please refrain from messaging Admins via private message/comments or adding their personal social media/steam accounts unless they invite you to do so.[/SIZE]

17E) Admins are only available on teamspeak if there is an issue with teamspeak or there is a hacker on the server.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]AltisLife.co.uk host the biggest teamspeak server in the UK therefore for things to remain a nice place to hangout we have some rules for our teamspeak server.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]This is an adult community and a lot of the rules come down to common sense, do not swear at people, troll people, bully people otherwise you will simply be banned from teamspeak.[/SIZE]
