Why do you think you were banned: C1.7 Chat Ban for using a slur in a /me, I completely agree with the ban but due to no one being around and as it was in a /me I feel that even though it was a stupid and idiotic decision, IF that message were to go through if not the auto ban system, no players would've been effected by this message and I did not mean it in a malicious way.
Why should we unban you: Good morning / afternoon / evening to the person reading this, I hope you're doing well and keeping busy. I am writing to appeal my ban from the server and express my sincerest apologies for my actions that led to this situation.
I deeply regret my use of offensive language, specifically the racial slur, within the server environment. Upon reflection, I recognize that my behavior was completely inappropriate, regardless of whether other players were directly affected. Words carry weight, and such language has no place in any community, virtual or otherwise.

This was a serious lapse in judgment on my part, and I take full accountability for my actions. My intention was never to harm or offend anyone, but I understand now that even in moments of poor decision-making, my words can have an impact. The fact that I used the slur through a /me command does not excuse or diminish the gravity of my mistake.

Since my ban, I have taken time to reflect and educate myself on the importance of maintaining respect and inclusivity in all interactions. I am committed to fostering a positive environment if given the opportunity to return. I have also reviewed RoleplayUK’s community guidelines thoroughly and am prepared to uphold these standards to the best of my ability.

I have made several previous appeals, and while I understand the seriousness of my actions and your hesitance to reinstate me, I respectfully ask for one final chance to prove that I can be a valuable and respectful member of this community.

As I know the other requests weren't up to standard I thought I'll take much more time and thought going into this appeal than my previous ones. I assumed that you'll take into consideration my previous appeals and take sections of them out but I realised that would be silly as in previous appeals I didn't explain myself well enough.


Thank you for taking the time to consider my appeal. I sincerely hope to demonstrate my growth and commitment to bettering myself if given the opportunity to return to RoleplayUK.

Hope your day is going well mate.

I'll walk you through exactly what happened and what led me to type what I typed.
So to paint the picture, me and a couple IRL friends were playing on the server, I was already on the server for a couple of days and I invited them to play with me. We really enjoyed the server and were getting to know how to play, exploring all realms of what the server has to offer. We then decided to go into the mountains and roleplay a fishing trip out together. As we were there we were chatting, fishing, having a good time, until my friend decided to do a goofy /me with some silly word. It popped up in front of the character as all /me's do and we all had a lil chuckle. I'd say it was a form of "trolling" eachother but with no animosity or ill-intent, and the only ones effected by our messages was ourselves as no player was to be seen around us at all at any moment. One thing led to another and my other friend and myself started to do a little bit of trolling.

Here is where the story gets worse as I decided to write something worse. I'll be fully transparent with you, I am a very fast typer and sometimes I type before i think, this was one of those moments. I've played a lot of CS:GO in my time and I've been almost desensetized to the word. This doesn't at all justify why I wrote what I did but it gives you a full idea of what my thought process was before i hit Enter and why I did it. I want to add that AT THE TIME I didn't think this was a horrible thing I did but this ban truely made me rethink what words I use. You've probably heard this time and time again on these ban appeals where people were racist. But I truely believe this ban changed me online and the things I say to people.

I also lied to my friends at the time who i was playing with, right after the ban they asked what happened, I was actually so ashamed of what I did that I lied straight to my friends and told them I wasn't sure what I got banned for. The second the screen switched to "You've been banned", it honestly made me rethink what I've typed and right after I did it I regretted it. So to be fully honest the ban was a great thing that happened to me as if I wasn't auto banned I believe I wouldn't have thought about that message twice, at the time.

But going back to summarise the question you asked, I honestly didn't think much, nor did I have a thought process before typing it out, except from "Let's try to be funny and join in with the /me's" - but i took it too far.

As I was reading this back to myself I realised that this makes me sound like a real racist and that I use this word regularly, by no means am I a racist at all nor do I use this word frequently, but I'll admit that there has been potentially 2 or 3 other occasions I have used a similar words in the past but again I didn't use it in a damaging way, and faced no reprocussions for them.

Again I don't mean that this word didn't have any weight to it or trying to justify what I said, but trying to be fully honest and paint the whole picture for you and my exact thought process.

With this situation unlike on CSGO for example, I said what I said and faced immediate reprocution with a ban, which I actually am super grateful for as it made me realise that certain words shouldn't be said at all even if you don't mean them, or use them with ill-intent.

Thanks for looking at my appeal again. I know being on my 10th appeal isn’t great, but I wanted to explain.

The reason I’ve made so many appeals is because I really care about this server and want to be part of it again. I know I messed up and broke the rules, and I’ve been trying to show that I’ve learned from my mistakes. I don’t want to give up because this server means a lot to me. I understand why I was banned and why the rules are important. If I get another chance, I’ll make sure to follow the rules and be a better part of the community.

I've re-read your appeal, and I'm confident that you understand where you went wrong, and that you will not repeat such behaviour in future.

Goes without saying, but if you are banned again in future for C1.2 - you will not be able to appeal the ban again.
