Reason given for your ban: I was banned from the server due to breaking rule C2.3 (Combat logging)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I had been involved in a situtation in which I was downed and kidnapped. I was consequently dumped in water and I chose to log out prior to the timer ending.
The reason I logged out relatively promtly after the incident was due to the time of night that this took place and my commitments I had the following morning. Admittedly thats my own problem, and Im aware that regardless of my commitments, it wasnt the correct thing to do. I did not mention anything OOC in game chat, nor in discord due to my eagerness to get to sleep and lack of better judgement on that occassion.
I understand why the rule is in place, and on this occasion I slipped up. If i'm completely honest, at that particular moment in time, with being anxious of the time, I felt i could log back in the follwing day, wait out my time and respawn, and for that I do apoligise.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned as I have learnt my lesson. By having a 'cool down' period post Rule Break, its given myself a chance to reflect on my rule break and now when I look back, I recognise it was a stupid move too have made. Due to myself trying to save some time, its lost me a month of enjoyable RP and potentially more. I've always contributed positively to the server, and I try to provide good experiences to a multitude of players on the server. I had no malicious intentions by combat logging, and certainly had no intentions of 'metagaming' to get someone to try find me. I had nothing of value on myself and I felt, at the time, me repawning the following day only affected myself, and for that I do apoligise. I hope you take the time to read this, and consider allowing me to be back amongst the community.

Had you read all of our rules prior to this ban? Was you aware of the combat logging rule and that these actions would result in you receiving a permanent ban? 

 
At the time of the rule-break I didn't know that in a situation like the one I was in, that me logging out once dumped would of been considered 'combat logging'. I knew that to 'pop' during a situation would equate to a ban for sure, but because my situation was over, and I would have to respawn regardless I never really thought about it in the same way. Since reading the rules again thoroughly, I understand now that what I did was still considered combat logging I know now, that this rule is in place to stop people from playing the game unfairly e.g. (logging out and back in when servers more populated in hope of being found) Although, this certainly wasn't the case for this incident, I understand that their is a blanket rule for a reason and their is no room for interpretation now that I've read it fully

Ordinarily, for bumping you'd be receiving a 3 day cooldown. However, to do that now would be unjust in my eyes as it's been a week and by extension, you've experienced the cooldown.

Please explain the combat logging rule to me in your own words. I see you understand why we have it on the server already.

 
Combat Logging, is exploiting too usually give yourself an advantage. Whether thats to save your items, avoid medical RP , avoid being arrested or the Most common in my experience which  is downed people logging to avoid being seeing the 'dodgey doc'.

 Some people may combat log due to numerous reasons, whether thats an issue out of game or just rage quitting. Generally speaking, regardless of the reason for the combat log, it clearly affects RP situations. 

Anyone who leaves during a situation, whether thats a conversation, a robbery or a chase, then its considered combat logging. Someone who doesnt appreciate the RP their recieveing, or someone who is downed and cant be bothered to wait out their repawn timer, is also considered combat logging. 

In a simplistic nutshell....Leaving the server when you should still be present is combat logging.

Please tell me, if you cannot even follow the unban appeal rules and manage to get your appeal locked for 3 days, how can we trust you back on the server with all of the rules attached?
The unban appeal rules are extremely simple to follow, yet you've disregarded them already.

 
I did apologise for doing this it was more out of excitement to get back to the community but then realised that it would classify as a bump which is why i havent made a commented since unless spoken to.
it wasnt a disregard to the unban rules just me being excited and impatient, and as for server rules i just wish for another opportunity to prove that i can stick by them.

There is just one more thing that doesn't quite make sense to me, you've been in the community since May 2022.
You've had a year and a bit to familiarise yourself with the rules and obviously I do find it slightly difficult to believe you was not aware that logging out whilst downed would get you banned?

Had you not properly read over the rules? 

 
I do know the rules Danno i dont know what you want me to say i took a leap of faith and turned my PC off because i didnt think it was actually going to matter there was noone around me the rp was over and i had nothing on me to lose so there wouldnt have been a reason to try and meta my way back to life.. it had gone past midnight which is my cutoff time during the working week because i leave the house at 05:00 everyday. i have apologised for my actions made it clear that it wouldnt happen again. i dont know what else you want me to do tbh.

Given the above, I am in hope that you've managed to learn a lesson from the ban and have had a real good look over the server rules since!
I'm willing to give you another chance on the server so you can prove yourself here considering your overall record isn't too bad. 

Please do not waste this opportunity, any bans you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent leading you straight back here!
