Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for the misuse of OOC chat and calling someone a malicious word outside of RP. After a police car collided with me and drove off, I got angry and called him a
'dickhead' in OOC chat. Looking back at this situation I should have either simply just let it slide or dealt with it in RP. It wasn't even deep and was very silly of me to react the way I did. I should have known better considering I saw many times about staff telling numerous of people off for doing exactly this.
Why should we unban you: Firstly, I would like to thank whichever staff member that deals with this appeal. Your work never goes unnoticed by members in the community. Thank you again.

It’s been a long 6 months and I have missed every bit of RP that the community has ever provided me. I think I have been in the community around 2 years now and I have been through so much in this server.
From being in a small friendship group, meeting my boyfriend here and not to mention I have met some awesome friends.

I have 4 characters now I believe and I would really like to go down different avenues with them, not just being on the crim side. I want to try my luck with maybe the police force, NHS, or even a solicitor.
The only thing is getting in the way of that is the fact that I have built up quite a 'rapport of bans and warnings’ as Jessie worded this in my last appeal, and I know that she is 100% right and I am not going to argue with that because I know that this is true.

Being in different servers which does not have an OOC chat on show like RPUK does I can honestly say that this has helped me A LOT, and I do get that this shouldn’t have had to happen to make me learn my lesson but I am telling the truth and nothing but the truth.

I’m hoping to be given another chance to prove myself that I really have changed. I only want to provide really good quality roleplay for members here in RPUK and to simply follow the rules put in place!

Taking a quick look over your history here, I'm understanding the comments around generating a reputation for ooc issues.

I think my first question is about this.
Being in different servers which does not have an OOC chat on show like RPUK does I can honestly say that this has helped me A LOT, and I do get that this shouldn’t have had to happen to make me learn my lesson but I am telling the truth and nothing but the truth.

If we were to allow you back to this server, which does have an ooc chat. How can we be sure that you're not going to fall back into old habits and begin venting in ooc at players that upset you?
 
Thank you for replying to my appeal so fast, again I do appreciate that.

So to answer your question. With being on RPUK as my main and really I would say first server with all my dedication, ofc OOC I used to see so many people vent in which made me get used to it and think it was okay even though there is a rule preventing it. I know others actions shouldn't influence mine but when I was constantly seeing people vent in there it became a stupid habit of mine.

With me now spending so long without this OOC chat I believe if I come back, I wont need to use the OOC chat no matter my frustration as I have learnt it gets me nowhere and I've learnt other coping methods being in servers without one such as just sitting back from the game and ranting to myself or even just telling myself I can always clip and report something if I'm annoyed. There is no need to ruin others RP or flood an OOC chat because I myself know how annoying this can be when I used to see others doing this.
 
In my own words, the OOC chat is there for help only. Such as asking staff for help like asking them to pull a vehicle out if its bugged or asking someone to come to QE. Using it for stupid things like complaining is pointless and will only get myself back here.
 
If we were to allow you back. What do you think would be a reasonable response, if we found you abusing the ooc chat again?
 
Hello C Date, if you guys were to welcome me back you would not find me abusing ooc chat again. Ive learned from this and promise to not be found abusing it again as i have had plenty of warning and alot of time to think about my actions, but hyperthetically if you found me doing it again i think a simple goodbye for the last time as enough would be enough. But i promise i have learned and wont no more :)

So, by your own admission, if we found you abusing the ooc chat again. Your removal from the community permanently, would be reasonable yes?
 
Well then, with that in mind.

I will allow the unban. But let me make this crystal clear. If you are found to be using OOC/LOOC/out of game platforms, to be abusive or using them for reasons that they are not meant for, You will not be kicked, you will receive a permanent ban. The minimum cooldown for the appeal at that point, would be 12 months.
