In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I want to start off this appeal by apologising for how I acted and by telling the complete truth. I'm very aware of what my actions were and around 3 months ago I was permanently banned for Metagaming as I was talking on discord to my mates after I was killed. I was describing the situation to my mates on discord (where I was, what was happening, who got me and where they were taking me). I understand now how severe of a rule break this was and how damaging this is to the server as there must be countless amounts of people who metagame to change roleplay events to their favour in the city.

Why should we unban you ?: I do see now even though I was using discord to my advantage there is never a reason to use discord in game to communicate as there are many ways to talk to each other inside the game that align with the rules. I didn't realise how severe my actions were at the time as I was new to roleplay and didn't think what kind of implications it would have in the server and how it can damage other peoples experiences. After spending more time roleplaying I have begun to realise how unfair metagming can be to others in the city and how it isn't realistic and is technically powergaming and exploiting using third party software to help you win in situations and change roleplay scenarios. After spending this long of a time away from the server I now realise small temporary benefits are not worth getting permanently banned, and I should never break rules to benefit myself. After spending more time on other roleplay servers I have practiced to improve my roleplay and realise the point of the server is not winning or about the items but more about the roleplay scenarios. You should not break rules to twist events in your favour and if you consider unbanning me I can guarantee if I was let back into the server my behaviour would completely change and I would never break any rules again because I have learnt the value of roleplay and to prioritise playing through the situation rather than winning.

Thanks for the reply, first off what is going to happen in the future is I’m going to continue to be a better role player and hopefully be able to prove that I’ve learned from my mistakes, I feel I have matured more and will be able to add a more meaning and realistic experience for players.  And about doing it again I’ve completely learnt my lesson, I’ve been banned for around 3 months now and I honestly miss the city and feel I could contribute better to the experience and roleplay as I’ve learnt where I was going wrong in those 3 months. It will never happen again and I will follow the rules with caution and with care.

Any plans if we allow you back in the city?

I plan to tread lightly for a bit in the city and get my money up, make friends and get myself established and back to where I was when I left off. I also plan to follow the rules a lot more closely, sell a whole bunch of drugs too.

What about the roleplay. How would you contribute to it?

I will contribute more to the roleplay by letting the situation play out win or lose and be less of a win mentality and play for the situations and interaction of other players, I won’t be materialistic and always put the fun of me and other players first so everybody can have a fun roleplay experience without feeling like they can’t win or have fun. I will contribute to the city by making suggestions in the forums to also improve the roleplay and experience for everybody in general to make sure everybody and myself gets the best roleplay experience.

(G4.4) When you are revived/downed:

You may not actively enter or continue any combat situation for the next 10 minutes.
Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.
Whilst downed you may not gather any new information to use once revived.
While you are downed you may not divulge tactical information to anyone.
Please be mindful that you are heavily injured and should act accordingly, you were downed and have lost the fight, you will not recover instantly.
You are in medical custody until an NHS Medic releases you.

This rule is in place to prevent being revived and unrealistically getting involved straight after sustaining heavy injury, this rule is also in place to encourage more in depth roleplay and med rp, if this rule wasn’t in place people would be able to call out and give there friends an unfair advantage that could possibly tip the odds into there favour allowing them to win a situation that they wouldn’t of won if the person injured wasn’t giving them tactical information. Furthermore this rule is in place to allow the people injured to actually roleplay his injuries allowing the NHS who respond to him get a good roleplay situation and if somebody lwho is injured decides to not roleplay his injuries and act like his God it will ruin the situation and experience of the NHS as you’re meant to be hurt and the NHS are meant to help you, they can’t do this if you act like the terminator. This rule in my opinion is there to encourage further RP and to stop people from powergaming and acting like a terminator who doesn’t get hurt and who doesn’t die.

(C2.2) Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future. 

This rule is in place for literally the easiest reason ever any sort of exploiting even if it be something small still makes the game unfair for EVERYBODY if this rule wasn’t here the city wouldn’t be anywhere near what it is like today using it to gain an advantage takes the whole point out of the city your meant to win and lose and exploits csn give you an unfair advantage or make it just bell for other players and it just has an major effect on people who aren’t even aware of certain exploits that may be used against them to win a situation or to just give the other people in the city a clear advantage to every interaction they come up against. As an example duplication most likely if you’re duplicating weapons/money people play and work for guns, cars, property so on having everything for yourself after one little exploit just ruins the city and ruins the fun and immersion of other players and ruins the roleplay also.
