Reason given for your ban: G2.9, C2.2

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: My friend sent me money from his other account which i sent back to him. i was unaware of how/what he was doing and since have spoken to him and hoping to get this issue resolved

Why should we unban you ?: My friend sent me money which i sent back to him. i was unaware of how/what he was doing and since have spoken to him and hoping to get this issue resolved. he just told me he wanted to start again fresh and i said ok and thought i was helping him out. once i saw i had been banned, i phoned him straight away and he told me what he had done i was so angry at him as he knows i play this city frequently he just come back into the city and could of easily asked me to lend him some cash or even worked with me to make that money, IF I KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING I WOULDVE NEVER LET him! it was only 15600 i have over 2million if i knew thats what he was doing i would have just given him money and told him don't do that. i take accountability and never have been in any type of trouble since i have been in this city this is my only city and i really enjoy and embrace this city and would please ask and plead that you can please give me another chance as i know for 100% that this would of never happened if my friend didnt decide to join today and it will never happen again please may you accept my apologises for what has happened this morning and please allow me back into the city as i really love and enjoy your city so much and i am so outraged with him for putting me in this predicament he is selfish for what he has done and i dont know why he would even put me in this predicament

So looking over this a few questions arise. You have been in the community a few months as a whole  (Since October 2022), Did you not read the rules at the time or since then? If not please explain why. 

Now whilst you have claimed you we're "Unaware" This isn't exactly true now is it? So do you wish to tell us the full story and the truth or carry on with you claiming you knew nothing?

 
i was 100% unaware of what he was doing, you really think i would put myself in a position were i would get ban for something as silly as that. i didnt have a clue as to what he was doing until after i got band he said "every other city ive been in allows me to do what i done, the admins even help me the last time" all he ask me to do was hold some money for him i never thought nothing of it, just thought i was just helping a mate out. the honest truth! promise this will never happen again

 
So at no point did you notice your friend was on another character? Now the reason I don't buy the story as "Unaware" you let your friend use your house. You would of knew it wasn't the same person upon letting them inside the home. So why did you continue to help them? 

Going back to one of my above questions, Since you are saying you didn't know this was a rule, You've been here a good few months. Why haven't you read the rules?

 
if you check the only time I saw him in person is when he wanted the money back, he was bank transferring me the money and when someone sends money through their phone it doesn't say who its from just the amount. 

 It wasn’t really a thing of I was unaware of the rules I was just unaware of what he was doing to be honest, but at the same time I’m not going to lie I was unaware of that rule. Reason being the previous city I was in I lost my stuff and the developers help me get it back on my new character. And that’s were the confusion would’ve been. reading rules for 4 different city can be confusing. that's why I left every other city to focus on this one. (not saying I would have helped him if I knew what he was doing would have just told him to create a ticket and ask you guys) In this case the rules didn’t come to mind because all I thought I was doing was holding money.

How did he know who to send it to?

He would've had to ask you for your ID and these differ each time you reconnect to the server

 
this all happened in the space of 10 mins, he asked for my id onces, i never left the server my ID didn't changed

Now this contradicts what your friend has said in their appeal. They did use your house and you let the second character into the property, Now my question is why?

Whilst this is the truth that your id didn't change, Your friends did. So why didn't you question this? 

 
never knew he’s id to begin with, I don’t need he’s Id to revive money. So I wouldn’t have seen the id change. May I ask what you think went on because this is obviously bigger than I think it is and I promise you it’s not. I understand rules got broke and I take accountability for that but it was unintentionally.

We know what went on hence the questions to see if you will be honest and forth coming with us. Now your friend did use your house and you would of seen who was pressing the bell to enter. Surly you picked up on the different names no? 

Now if someone sends you X amount of money like what happened as well, Why would you not question them asking for it back not moments later? Help us understand.

Could you also please quote both rules you have been banned for and explain in your own words why you believe we have such rules in place?

 
I’ve been nothing but honest I promise you that. as I said from the begin only saw him once and that’s when I let him in my house. When someone presses your belll it tells you the id. I wouldn’t have picked up on the different id change because I never knew it to begin with. 

I was occupied as this was going on, saw the money coming in didn’t think nothing of it because he told me he was going to send me money previously. I happened to be at my house when he wanted the money back(that’s how we ended up in my house) only reason I didn’t question it how I should’ve (my mistake)is because it was a little bit of money to be honest

G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method. personally i never done this i may have helped some do it unintentionally.  and i put my hand up to it because i shouldve question it no matter how much money it was.

What you did in this falls under this rule, Now you have stated the rule but not answered the full question posed to yourself, Could you please do this?

Could you also please quote both rules you have been banned for and explain in your own words why you believe we have such rules in place? < Second part needs to be done.

 
what was the other reason i got banned. i cant see C2.2 in the rules for some reason 

G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method. i believe this rule is in place so that people dont just get rich quick actually have to graft and put in time and effort within the city to get somewhere and not just cheat their way through. without any rp behind each character

 
(C2.2) Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations.  If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future. i believe this rule is put in place to prevent character from excelling in the city without actually building/grinding and to also give to person and chances to get out there and rp in order to make money to survive 

 
If you we're asked to do something that could break a rule down the line given the opportunity to return, How would you handle this?

Furthermore, In relations to bans of this nature they do come with a full character wipe and deletion of all other characters. You do have two characters currently so if you would like to keep one you would need to let us know what one this is. In relation to a full character wipe, This is removing everything from the character, Vehicles, Money, Homes, Storages, Inventory ect... The only things the character keeps is RP memories and their story in a sense however items are removed. Do you agree to these terms?

 
tbh thats just made me not be able to trust anyone totally missed up my trusting mechanisms towards people, so from now on if anyone asks me to do anything  out of the ordinary  im not going to but if it seems reasonable ill double check the rules before i do anything no matter how small the request is. but please try to understand it from my point of view 

I really don’t think that’s fare at all because I never transferred anything for myself so wiping my stuff is a bit harsh. All that hard work I put in all the 6am grafting sessions I put in to get what I have is now going to be wiped because of a mistake my friend made, really don’t think that’s a fare punishment for me. I’ve told you guys my side of the story several time all I thought I was doing was holding money for a mate and in result to that I lose everything I have, if it was me transferring stuff from one sole to another for myself I could understand that punishment but for a third party that had no clue what was going on, come on. please read back through everything I have said and try and understand my pain please.  I have way too much to lose for someone else’s mistake

 
It is up to you; the rules were broken, you aided a player in the transferring of items/money between their own characters. The rule is in place to help prevent damage to the economy and to protect the main element of the game, roleplay.

Fortunately for you we are prepared to give you another chance on the server. You can continue to play here but because of the damage you may have caused, however small or large it might be, you will have to agree to a character wipe before being allowed back.

Take some time before your next reply to think about your decision, if you would like to continue playing here these are the terms. Let us know if you accept or decline this second chance. I do not expect to keep going back and forth with this appeal, this is the decision and offer from the staff team.

 
Please tell me what rule I actually broke, no where in the rules does it say I cant send someone money THATS ALL I DONE, I may have unintentionally broke a rule out of my control. Aided him without knowing what he was doing. The fact that you guys don’t understand that is mind blowing to me and the fact that my punishment is worst than he’s is crazy wiping his character means nothing to him as he had nothing wiping mines mean everything because i had a lot of stuff. You guys are being very horrible to me I’ve spent 5 days fighting this for this out come. Ive seen you unban some from their opening statement and they done the same thing intentionally.
