Why do you think you were banned: I was removed from the discord servers for making distastful jokes towards a member of the community.
Why should we unban you: At the time I was too invested in the OOC issues that were becoming commonplace in the groups discord and ended up reciprocating toxicity which resulted in hurting someones feelings. My time away from the server has been refreshing, it's allowed me to reflect on my actions and see that I was wrong. Everyone logs onto the game for enjoyment and shouldn't have to experience edgy or personal insults. I didn't consider the feelings of the person that I made these comments to or the effects that my words would/could have and it was unfair of me to lash out at their expense.

I apologize that my actions have caused upset and have also resulted in the staff having to dedicate their time to deal with my appeals.

I know what I did was wrong and I take full accountability for my actions. I should have considered that my words could do harm but I don't want my mistakes to be reflective of me as a person, I want to show that I can be a welcome addition to the server and that I'm here to have a fun time roleplaying with the many friends and people I've formed story lines with.

I know that I will handle these situations in the future a lot better by acting like an adult and remaining composed. There was no need for my childish comments and instead of investing my emotions in petty arguments, I will focus on the enjoyable scenarios that I can create for both myself and others that I come across.

Hope all is well with yourself. As you might be aware the appeal was denied however after re-looking into the ban I've moved this appeal back to the normal section and you will be able to appeal this ban. I'll be the one reviewing it from here on, Just so you are aware.

Upon reading your appeal you have made an effort and took accountability for your actions, However a question I have for you. Why did it go this far?

If you could re-do everything what would be done different?

Also if I did give you another chance how do I know this won't simply happen again?

First of all I'd like to take a moment to say thanks for the opportunity.
I'm going to be completely honest with you here... I won't insult you or waste your time with the cliché "lack of judgment" type comment.

To answer your question about why i went so far.
Naturally i can be quite a joker. I feel as if it got to a point where a lot of jokes being made but also a lot of nerves were being touched, At the time I didn't see that my comments were found offensive. I was to invested in what i saw as a "clash" similar to how friends take the piss out of each other.

Retrospectively i can see this was a major wrong doing on my part, It was daft of me to assume that these comments would be taken as light jokes.
If i could re-do everything again.
I think it's wise for me to just focus on what i do best and create funny and interesting RP scenarios for the community to enjoy. I will take a step back from the typical OOC stuff and unnecessary jokes.

How can we assure you won't jump down the same rabbit hole again? As from what I saw it was mainly following what others we're doing and you decided to jump on that wagon from me checking the groups chat fully last night.

I do like the honesty and you being forth coming here so thank you for that. (I'll respond back on the appeal after I finish work if you have by then).
 
Very well, I'm not going to draw this appeal out as you have pretty much covered everything I would ask anyway. I'll give you another chance however keep in mind you will be on thin ice. If this repeats you will be right back here and you WILL get a cooldown.

I do hope you have learned from this as a whole. I've unbanned you on the RPUK discord. Don't ruin this opportunity.
