Why do you think you were banned: Maybe common sense.
Why should we unban you: So in discord stuff started getting heated and people started arguing with each other i mostly kept out of it during the arguments that were going back and forward between some grove members and some staff, after a while of seeing it i decided to post one comment outlining a similar situation to a scenario that happened a while back, it was not meant to be a remark or anything like that i was trying to have a normal conversation about the scenario that got someone that was hanging about for us banned and could be vital to try and understand when the rule would be getting breached or not since the teaming rule in certain scenarios seems to be confusing hence why i sent that comment and this is not the first time i question when is this specific rule used or when it isn't, It first happened with a report grove posted on Alliance and ballas to where Hank summers talked to me, Tyson and someone from alliance about the situation to try and understand the rule and when it is to be made a rulebreak and even more recently with other groups and stuff.
My point being from an outside perspective it looked like the rule is inconsistent or very hard to measure when its used and its very much up to the staff member dealing with it not to mention the fact that its been seen the same situation happen with the opposing gang where random people pick them up and save them yet seems to be unpunished even though staff members are spectating the situation and pulling only grove members specifically or anyone that saves only grove specifically so understandably people look at it and feel like its a not on regardless that don't excuse the complaining factor on the RPUK discord but again i will reiterate i was trying to have a normal argument not a heated one hence the way i responded to it, if i wanted to make remarks or be disrepectfull i don't think i would put it that way and again like i said if it came across that way than that is my bad i guess but like i said the intention was no to be disrespectfull and to compare situations while i do agree some people went of the rails i was not in any shape or form trying to do that.

Now i know i will probably be told in a reply to the unban appeal that i should report these incidents but, well at the same time i got told in one of my reports that i should stop reporting or bad things would happen (i dont know the exact lingo that was used but thats the way i understood it).

Like i said previously, i was not trying to make remarks or anything like that, my intention was to understand the rule and i was with Drex and Sammy when i questioned the situation that they were involved in.

Now I can see your points and understand a couple,

I appreciate you weren't the "worst offender" of the evening but there was certainly an air of ree and your comments just fell into that gust.

Yes, I am going to say please report any instance of a suspected rulebreak GIVEN you have proof to back it up.
I know it's not always straightforward (trust me) but we can't do anything if we don't know about it.
Even if it's a ticket instead of a report.
I would like to know who told you to stop reporting, if you want to DM me the name or post it here that's up to you

Now onto something not directly related but we have had some information about the grove discord and members, including yourself, streaming their game in a VC full of people also on the server.
I'm gonna give you a chance and ask, does this happen often?

Do you not think this breaks G3.1 OOC information?

Now to answer the questions:

Some of this i already DMed you the reasoning why it was mentioned in this unban (As requested) and yes i completely agree a ticket or a report are indeed the correct ways to go about it but when both were (In my opinion) not an option in our case because of previous circumstances/Reports/Tickets it felt like there wasn't really an option and were backed into a corner and basically being told fuck off so it came to a point where i just stopped relying on those methods since those were either being turned against me or i was just being brushed off.

Yes i will be honest i do stream in discord from time to time to people that are banned or don't play the server anymore to which i move to another channel to try and prevent these types of accusations or any chance of anyone metagaming, while yes i know some members have access to said channels they don't join them when i am streaming because i specifically tell them not to do so.

I am aware some of our members got recently banned for metagaming to which i will wholeheartedly say while probably won't believe me i was completely unaware that was being done since at the time i was in RP with a cutlass member at the time.

The only thing i would say could prove or atleast help on proving my innocence is that there was a recent report against the Chippiones to which i got mistakenly banned for the same thing yet I purposely prevented it from happening by not logging on the server while the situation was on going even if it was with 2 entirely different groups for the reason that metagaming is a easy rule to uncover and very obvious one when its done hence why i don't see the point in doing it.

As an ex gang lead and now second in command I always try and make sure the members are following a good standard of roleplay and will continue to do so and encourage them to do better if I am unbanned.

Hello there @Bmav , I hope you are well.

While I can appreciate that you were not the worst offender that night, your behaviour in the weeks leading up to it was just as bad, if not worse. You have been given multiple warnings and a ban for your outbursts in OOC and your constant bickering.

Whatever lead you to make that statement about Drex and myself, I do not understand, considering we had a conversation about it at the time and you had agreed with us before we ended the liaison. But it is irrelevant either way and past situations that were sorted, should simply not be subject of such discussions - especially not in public channels, you know this. If there was any issue, you should have brought it up and not speculate about another ban, that you and many others evidently only knew very limited information about.

You have been around a long time and should by now understand that nuance and context play a big part in all of our rules and it is saddening to see that instead of going about things the correct way and having conversations with people, you decide to jump onto the same waggon as others, throwing haltless accusations about.

You had been warned more than once by myself in the last couple of weeks, as well as by other staff and by Stuart in a report, that any more unneeded ooc comments or outbursts will not be tolerated and you chose to, quite frankly, keep on behaving like a toddler throwing their toys out of the pram.

While the comment that ultimately got you banned from discord was still somewhat tame, it was the final drop that made the barrel overflow.

For the above reasons, you as well receive a cooldown of 6 months until you can appeal again.
