In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: G2.9 - An associate in RP of ours (Tommy Mac) had left the city and when doing so, gave us some vehicles as a parting gift. Tommy Jenkins then was born a week or so later and instead of just giving him back a Vehicle, we agreed in RP as he has no knowledge of old character, we would employ him at our newly acquired shop in Sandy Shores and he would have to work the vehicle off which in turn he has been using to pick fruit for the store.

Why should we unban you ?: I understand the rules surrounding G2.9 and did not think I was breaking them as Tommy Jenkins has to earn the van given back to him, this was in no way to boost his character but to give him a company vehicle in RP.

I don't think a permanent ban in response to this is proportionate to the offence, which genuinely was a mistake on my behalf for which I apologise and this will not be repeated again.

Could you kindly quote the rule on character separation and explain to me how this was something you agreed on ''in rp''? are you saying that because you agree among yourself you can circumvent our rules? And how is giving a player a vehicle which has cost you nothing not boosting a new character? I'm starting to think you have a very twisted view of our rules... quote the rule you broke from the rules page and explain why you think its in place and how it works as well.

Thank you for taking to the time to respond,

Character Separation:

"(G3.5) Character Separation - Using information you have gained through the play of other characters to influence the course of roleplay, either directly or passing this information to a 3rd party to tell your character. Example: Character A is a cop that knows a raid is about to happen on a gang, Character B (same player) is a member of a rival gang. Character B does not know about the raid, Character A is unable to tell someone else to tell Character B about the raid. Character A may not use Character B's vehicles or assets."

When I said "We agreed in RP" to clarify I wasn't talking about either of Tommys characters, I meant we as in me and my brothers who are in the city, decided we needed a worker and to give the vehicle over to be used to pay it off by working in the shop, this would have been no different had we employed someone else. The conversation around the rules was prominent as there was some hesitation on our part because of WHO he was (Having had an RP storyline with us with a different character). After discussion with my familly OOC, I would be more than happy for the van to DISSAPEAR from anyones possession, I can see how it looks from a staff point of view, but my intentions as always have been to follow the rules and be a part of the community, this is not something that will ever be repeated again, and the time out of the city has cemented the meaning of rules to not be interpreted and for that mistake I can only apologise.

The rule in question (Which I broke) is "(G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method."

In my opinion the rule is in place to keep balance and fairness accross the server, and works well because being under constant observation, allows for these rules to be carried out, and indeed punished if not followed which I also agree with.

I understand that what I did was wrong, and it was not my intention at any point to "get ahead of anyone" or "influence server balance" We were just roleplaying, and I decided to interpret the rule for myself and I can see that on reflection I was wrong. Please don't allow this isolated incident to undo the nearly two years of behaving and RP on the server
