Honestly I have no idea, I cannot for the life of my ever remember joining the RP Altis Life server let alone getting banned from it. If you have any records of my transgression and can enlighten me I'd be extremely grateful and if I did wrong I will atone for my sins

Why should we unban you ?
I have only recently found RolePlay UK on FiveM and have been enjoying exploring the server and what it has to offer. I'd really like to get involved with the Altis Life as I enjoy playing Arma with another MilSim bunch.

@Beatle This ban is from 2018, Maybe the ban notes will enlighten you a little:

Part of a steam group called "Wilco is a nonce"

Must be a mistake, I honestly don't know anything about that group nor have I ever been a member of it.

I am currently only a member of 2 groups, Steam Universe and Kern Unit.

Is there any chance this could have been somebody else?

@Beatle Oh no it was no mistake, you was part of that group with around 11 others.

It was setup by "Bailey"

Steam support took the group down eventually, Why would you join a group like that ?

Hi Wilco,

Please accept my apologies for any misunderstanding that can be derived from the brevity of my messages on this forum, it's just I am really taken back by this as I have zero recollection of said transgression.

Let me reiterate:

1. Before finding the RP GTAV Roleplay FiveM server 2 days ago I have no recollection of Roleplay.co.uk of it's previous incarnation of Altis Life UK
   
2. Before seeing the Arma3 ban message 2 days ago I do not know of ever meeting you let alone having any reason for calling you any defamatory names
   
3. I do not, nor have I ever, join groups that are solely aimed at defaming individuals, even if I don't like them, and definitely not when I don't know them nor ever met them.
   
4. I do not know of this person called Bailey, as that is my surname I would remember somebody with that nickname as it means something to me, it's my family name and I would seriously object to anybody causing any damage to my family name.
   
5. I have raised a support request with Steam for them to investigate this group and my alleged membership of it and should they come back with evidence in support of your claim I will back down and retract my application for unbanning, and never darken the RP servers again.
   

To answer your question directly, I would not join a group like that.

I will update this thread with the results of the Steam support ticket and thank you for your time and patience.

Attached is the response from Steam Support, it's not very helpful in resolving our dispute so I leave it in your hands, you have the final word.

You know what looking into this further I noticed this ban isn't originating from your steam ID

It belongs to someone else who just so happened to have the name "Beatle" when he was banned and by accident that name was also banned, so if you changed your arma name it would of let you in no issues

This is all a mistake, I have corrected it and our sincere apologies!
