Unban Appeal for Beansj

Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: i was banned for combat logging, after being vdm'd

Why should we unban you ?: i realise i did something wrong by combat logging and should have reported the incident, instead of just quiting the server. in the future if i am unbanned i will be sure to have my body cam running at all times and deal with it the right way on the forums.

There isn't much in the appeal overall so I'll give you another chance to answer the two questions, You say you did something wrong but don't mention anything more than that.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned, i believe i was banned for combat logging, i had just respawned at the hospital started to run down to the main carpark and some person was arguing with another rper "all i heard was swearing and moaning", i interrupted and told him to shut the F*** up being aggro to people because he was proper going in on some guy (there was no back n forth/engagement from the guy. i just said that and continued running) then i continued to run down the road and all of a sudden i was rammed on the pavement by another random person who i had not engaged with at all. they were then discussing how to dispose of me so i decided to log out.

Why should we unban you: because i really enjoyed your server, it is the only rp server i have ever played. and i wish to be unbanned so that i can continue to progress my character and friendships that i had made on my way up to see  how far i can make it, i loved every interaction (except for the one in question), i miss going to car meets and having cheeky banter with the lads, chilling around the city and most of all meeting new people. i fully understand that under no circumstance i should combat log, as it ruins the whole situation for everyone participating, furthermore i will in the future be sure to record anything and everything i think is against the rules and report said incident on the forums.

So you was downed either due to your actions by telling them to shut up, Or maybe from someone else breaking a rule, Either way why would you think logging out would be acceptable ? 

If you believed the other player who downed you broke a rule, Did you inform the staff team or make a report for us to review? 

Have you ever combat logged before from any situation? 

 
looking back at it now i know its completely unacceptable but my emotions got the better of me that one time, this will not happen again as i fully understand the consequences, my end and to the other players who suffer from this rule with the loss of rp and/or gains.

Before attempting an appeal i re-read the rules and the ban-appeal information and realised i had no evidence, and i myself had broke a serious rule so i thought i'd deal with the punishment. but my friends still play and are always speaking about it when we play other games and it sounds fun so i would like to come back if you would allow it.

This was my first and last offence of combat logging.

Are you sure you haven't combat logged previously? Honesty is the best policy overall.

 
Honestly im trying to think and there isnt a situation i can recall where i have done this before on the server! i may be wrong as i played the server a year prior to this incident but i do not remember anything from that small stint of play as i wasnt very into rp when i first joined.

Judging by your reply i assume i have done it before and that this is a last chance message to get me to be honest, but in all honesty i do not remember another situation.

Indeed there we're two times I've found from having a quick look, These would be on March 29th and April 3rd, Do these dates ring a bell to anything you was doing ? 

 
Firstly i'd like to apologise for lying and that i cannot give an explanation to these two dates as i really do not know what happened, if i truly did remember i would have stated this above after being given a second chance to admit it. All i can do is reiterate what i said previously and say im really sorry for rule breaking (multiple times) and that i fully understand now, why these rules are in place and what a mess it would be without them. all i can do now is ask for a third chance so that i can prove i have changed and really wish to rekindle my love for gta rp.

Indeed lying isn't a good thing more so within appeals, However this does also translate to real life activities. In relation to the rules, Could you please quote the rule you broke and explain in your own words why you believe we have such a rule in place?

 
Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

I believe that this rule is in place to protect the integrity of the game and to ensure the highest quality of rp, without such rule the game would be one giant mess with people not wanting to take L's and also not giving wins to the people who obey the rules at all times, it also severly ruins the rp situation for the other player who maybe has played countless hours to then get combat logged on and potentially ruin the persons day to the point they may not return.

 
I'm willing to give you another opportunity given how you have conducted yourself within your appeal and given your history with us. It's clear you are aware of the rule we have in place such as combat logging, So keep this in mind moving forth. I would suggest if you haven't already to read over the GTA and Community rules fully before rejoining the server. 

As such I believe it does go without saying, I don't want to see you return to this section of the forums moving forth. Don't let us down with this opportunity being provided to yourself and hope you have a wonderful day!
