In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I made an insensitive comment regarding the news of Prince Andrew's behaviour coming to light... At the time I was angry with the fact he could get away with it and people in game where supporting his behaviour! Some other comments had been made and I got caught up in that - I am of course sorry for any harm that my words may have caused. I can totally understand why a ban was neccessary to enable others to focus on the sad news that was ongoing. Looking back I do understand this now.

Why should we unban you ?: I have of course reflected on the reasoning and the events that led to the ban - I do apologise to all and of course would like to raise the point that I am always abiding and respecting the rules of the servers I join. I had put in many hours on the server and followed the rules diligently. This of course was a slight lapse in an emotionally charged issue and time. For that I do apologise and I will of course be more careful going forward. Time to look back and understand the reasoning is also beneficial and I believe that I have been away for a good amount of time. I will of course keep my opinions to myself going forward.

Hello, sure I'll break it down question by question:

I'd love to hear your thought process - I think it was out of furstration with the whole situation - not entirely sure what the end goal was/if there even was one. I just felt the need to voice it against the other opinions. Perhaps it was just to be heard.


Why you've done it - I honestly cannot say there was any real motive apart from the above - purely out of surprise people would defend that behaviour. I understand now that I should have just moved on and kept it to myself! 


Why we should allow you back.  - it was a stupid mistake and mis calculated, I genuinely meant no harm and if it caused any then I sincerely apologise. As mentioned I have always followed all rules and do not intend to do the server a dis-service. At the time I was deep in RP within the community and wish to rebuild on that. 

It was such a long time ago that I have very little recolleciton of the motive or what I thought would be the gain. For that I apologise and would love the opportunity to move on.

Hi @barny981,

You've been here since 2022 with this being the first time you've ended up on our radar, this also just so happens to be a straight permanent ban which is the worst punishment you could've received.
Why would you throw away such a clean record with us for comments like what you made?

If we decided to let you back into the server, how are we to know you won't go ahead and make silly comments like this moving forward?

Also, may I ask why you never responded to your last appeal?

Hello, totally understand - it was a mis judged remark and I am sorry for that, there is no other explanation other than it was not a wise thing to say. 

Going forward there will not be a repeat of this kind of thing - never happened before and never will again, this is very much an isolated one off incident. 

Apologies, I was called out on a shout that last 4 hours following the last appeal and totally forgot to pick it back up as I was exhausted.

Where do you plan to head with your roleplay here?

Hi, apologies for the delay. 

I plan to hopefully pickup where I left off. I had arrived in the city and was making good progress making contacts. I'd been working mostly as a cab driver but trying to make some extra cash on the side. I had actually a fare who introduced me to some less than "ideal" people, they got me into the world of drugs but I was only planning to be in that life to make a quick buck. Couple of run ins with the police and I was looking to make a straight living. 

Ideally looking to continue that, had started mixing with more people on the right side of the law and began working as a driver for deliveries. I will of course now have to remake some of those new connections from hanging out in town at bars/food stops as I did before. Perhaps even go right back and pickup the cab work again. Definitely aiming to keep it on the straight and narrow but we will see how that goes...
