Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. Why do you think you were banned: (Cant Obtain Ban ID - Unable to view the server ban message without getting the 'Join Discord' message)
This was over 10 months ago, I do apologise if I might've missed out anything however I will try my best to recall the whole incident & be as truthful and transparent as possible in this appeal
I was banned for duping a lot of money. An admin teleported to me midway getting money and placing it in a car. They asked me 'What I was doing' I felt guilty for duping, to the point where I admitted on the spot that I was duping money, I didn't apologise and stated that I should be banned. At the time, I also felt guilty that I was also caught by the admin.
I was then taken to an admin roof where I explained myself further to a group of 3 visible admins, I do not remember their names. At the time I told them I had been doing it for a while, which is true. If I recall, I did it for a few months at most. I claimed at the time it was a year but I believe this to be an ego exaggeration which was false.
I claimed to them that I had an alt account which I used on another computer, and I did this by my own. This is factually not true, I got was being given it by someone else. I was gloating by claiming it was myself at the time because of immature ego, I also didn't want the person who gave me the money have what happened linked back to them.
This isn't related to the ban, however this is very relevant information and I would like to lay everything out on the table. I did share my storage container code & created a metagame googledoc in a VC of friends when I was banned, which was an immature outburst.
Why should we unban you: What I did was selfish & damaging to the server. It damages and inflates the economy with fake money that shouldn't of even existed, and selfishness to obtain duped money for myself while everyone else has to work for it legitimately. It isn't fair, and this rule exists for a very good reason. Same with the metadoc, this damages the server because information that must be obtained in character can spread out of character.
This is by no means an excuse for what I did, however the reason for going on the duping path was plain selfishness, I wanted to get money fast. There is no excuse for what I did and if I am being completely forthcoming in this appeal, it is a stretch to even make this appeal in the first place because I understand just how bad the severity of what I did was. I don't believe there is anything I can say or do to prove to anyone how sincere I am about how sorry I feel for what I did. I feel guilty for what I did as it is shit, spineless behaviour which effects everyone. The players, the admins, the server as a whole, vagos, the friends who got banned due to looking in my container. These people didn't have to be effected & none of this had to happen, yet it did because of my own actions which I highly regret.
I've been playing RPUK for around over 7 years, I keep coming back to this server because I love it, and I am extremely frustrating at myself for it having to end like this. All the friends, all the fun interactions, it's all easily obtainable without selfish motives, greediness for money and being a brat to others, yet I decided to go down a path of ruining my reputation, ruining my chances of ever being let back on the server because I was impatient and self centered.
I sincerely apologise for everything, I hope I could earn the privilege of one last chance showing that I wish to reform and prove I can turn a new leaf.
