Why do you think you were banned: Hello Staff,
I know I’m posting this appeal before my cooldown which ends in September. I just wanted to explain my side and hopefully shed a bit of light on everything. Either way, thank you for reading through.
Back on March 9th, I was permanently banned for RDM after shooting down a Grove heli over Cutlass turf without proper roleplay beforehand. I’ve got no excuse for it — I made a bad call, and the staff’s decision to ban me was 100% justified. Like I said in my last appeal, I should’ve taken more time to actually interact with the Grove members instead of cutting the RP short. I regret it massively. If I could go back, I would’ve handled it so much differently, because I do care about my time on the server and the roleplay ive built there.
Then, just a couple days later on March 11th, I got hit with another ban for G4.1 (NLR). The report focused more on a supposed teaming situation, but the final verdict mentioned G4.1. I didn’t get a chance to explain myself on that point, and to be honest, I’ve got no memory of breaking NLR in that situation. I mentioned this in my last appeal too but didn’t get much clarity. Even if this gets denied again, I’d really appreciate if staff could give some insight there — I just want to understand the issue fully and avoid repeating any mistakes.
Why should we unban you: I know I’ve only done one out of the six months I was meant to be on cooldown for, but being away from RPUK has made me realise just how much the server means to me. I was in there almost every day and enjoyed every moment of it. There’s nothing else like it, and ive got a lot of respect for the work staff put in to keep it running.
If I’m given the chance to return early, I’d love to continue my characters storyline with Cutlass and focus on proper, quality RP. I understand I’ve had more chances than most, and maybe I haven’t done enough to prove I care, but I genuinely do. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to show that.
