Why do you think you were banned: I have been banned for breaking the following rules:

(G1.2) Random Death Match (RDM)Mass RDM is a permanent ban

Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality
roleplay is considered RDM. (eg. Giving enough time for them to
comply with your order. “Put your hands up or I will shoot” and
countdowns are not considered quality roleplay, please at least
attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering
violence.)

(G4.1) A new life starts, after you respawn, when:

Your character has had to respawn in any roleplay situation except as per (G4.2).
Why should we unban you: Hello Staff, I hope you’re all doing well.
I’ll start with the RDM ban

This situation happened while I was on a rooftop at Cutlass turf. From my POV, I saw a helicopter flying really close, and because Cutlass is beefing with Grove, I took it as an act of hostility. Assuming it was Grove, I shouted at them multiple times to leave or I would shoot, giving them several chances. Since they stayed, I opened fire and shot them down. What I didn’t realize at the time was that they were too far away to actually hear me, which I now completely understand made the situation unfair for them. I genuinely thought my shouting was enough for them to hear me, but I should have made more of an effort to ensure proper RP was happening on both sides. Looking back, I could have used /me or /e commands, or even called a Grove member to relay the message, which would have made the RP more engaging and clear. If I’m ever in a similar situation again, I’ll make sure quality roleplay is the priority before engaging in any violence.
Regarding G4.1, I’m a bit confused about why this was included in my ban. It wasn’t mentioned in the report, so it caught me off guard when I saw it in the verdict. The only thing I can think of is that I might have broken G4.5, since I do remember being taken to Pillbox by police earlier that day. I completely understand why the New Life Rules exist—to keep things fair and consistent in RP—but I’m struggling to fully grasp what I did wrong in this specific case. If staff could provide some clarification on the exact reason for the G4.1 ban, I’d really appreciate it so I can properly respond.

Since joining RPUK, I’ve put a lot of time into the server and enjoyed every moment of it. RP is always my main focus, and I’d love the opportunity to prove that I can do better. If given another chance, I’ll make sure to provide the highest level of roleplay possible.

I completely understand that being banned three times in just three months doesn’t look great, and I see why that might make you doubt whether I’ll follow the rules going forward. But I can promise that if given another chance, I will make a real effort to improve my roleplay standards.

Coming from faster-paced servers, its taken time to adjust to RPUKs rules, but I now fully understand how important the rules are to keeping the server’s roleplay strict, fair, and enjoyable. The rules aren’t an obstacle, they’re part of what makes this server unique, and that’s exactly why I’ve become so attached to it. If I’m allowed back, I’ll make sure that, no matter the situation or pressure, I always put the rules first.
 
Promise is one thing, but you have you actually learned anything?
 
During my break I've looked over both FiveM and Group Rules. I've made sure that I understand the rules fully and yes, I've completely learnt from my actions and the mistake won't be repeated again. Its more than a promise, its a commitment.

So we let you back in. What do you end up doing? Where do you start with your character?
 
Thanks for replying Stavik, when i come back to the city i will provide the best roleplay where everyone will be happy and enjoy there time on the server. I will stop from breaking any rules and follow what i’ve learnt from this ban and put it into action, i’ll make sure to prove this by putting in maximum effort to make sure whatever i do is enjoyable for not only me but the whole of the RPUK community, i also plan on making a new character as a Police Officer and if you was to let me back in i would make sure i show quality roleplay on there too.

Im not sure if want to let the staff team deal with you.. again..

I really do apologise Stavik and to the whole staff team, i don’t mean to come across as a OOC warrior and if i do i am sorry, sometimes what happens in rp gets to me but i will make sure to refrain from OOC talking for irrelevant stuff, and i will make sure to never ever get banned again. I have read over the rules multiple times and understood them i truly promise you that i will not break any rules.
 
Nah mate, i aint buying it this time around. Far too much over a very very short period of time.

You can appeal in September.
