Server: GTA RP
Character Name: Adam Osborne
Steam ID: 76561198150860525
Ban ID (just the numbers): 13334
Ban Reason: G2.9 | C2.2 | G.3.5
Why do you think you were banned: So I was banned because I put items into a cars glovebox then I parked it in a carpark then logged off and jumped on my other character and took said items from the glovebox and started to drive that car.
Why should we unban you: I’m writing to respectfully appeal my ban from the server. I understand the reasons behind my previous bans and fully accept responsibility for my actions. I want to apologize for any disruption I may have caused. Since my ban, I’ve joined other servers and worked hard to become a functional and rule-abiding member of those communities. These experiences have increased my understanding of the importance of adhering to server rules and contributing positively to the community. I am committed to applying the lessons I’ve learnt to ensure that I will not repeat my mistakes if given another chance. I understand that I’ve been banned twice, and I don’t take this lightly. I am asking for one final opportunity to demonstrate that I’ve changed and that I can be a respectful and productive member of this community.
Please confirm that you have read the unban appeal process and rules: Yes

Hello @adam22443 , I hope all is well! :)

So I was banned because I put items into a cars glovebox then I parked it in a carpark then logged off and jumped on my other character and took said items from the glovebox and started to drive that car.
Why did you decide to do this? You were banned for this on 11/07/2023, yet on 18/03/2023 you were also banned for G2.9 so this is now the second occasion.
You'd have known about the rule, so what was the motive behind trying to break it a second time?

Hello thanks for replying so soon, you're absolutely right I knew that it was against the rules. The motive behind my actions was poor judgement plain and simple. I made a selfish decision that I thought might benefit me in the short term whilst not thinking of the long-term consequences or the impact it would have.

Hello @adam22443 , thanks for the response!

I appreciate the honestly, but based off of this, I don't really see how I can trust you moving forward?
You've blatantly broken the same rule twice, and were fully aware of what you were doing, so in the time you've been banned what's actually changed?

Thank you for getting back to me. In the time that I've been banned I've taken the time to look back at my actions and realised that I let my poor judgment get in the way of the server rules. I made selfish decisions without thinking of what affect it would have on the community or the trust that I've lost.

But since then I've joined other servers and have managed to follow their rules to the letter, and worked to become part of the community, whilst providing a positive RP experience. And I remember the good times that I had on here, and would like to have one last chance to be able to regain the trust and respect that I lost. I know that trust is earned and not given which is why I'd be grateful for one last chance to prove that I can be a vital member of the community and to prove to you and everyone else that I've learned from my mistakes.

Good morning @adam22443

I hope all is well?

Tell me about the positive roleplay you have been providing and the positive roleplay you would be bringing here of you were to be given a second chance

Hello, thank you for replying back. The positive RP experiences that I've been giving in other serves since I've been banned, are mainly in leadership positions for example I joined the MET Police and worked my way up the ranks to become an Inspector. I also earned a position in the SCO-19 Tactical Firearms Unit, where I played a key-role in tactical scenarios and maintained high standards of roleplay to make the scenes enjoyable and immersive for everyone involved.

In another server I was involved in creating a gang. We developed an initiation process for new recruits that added a sense of depth and realism to the roleplay element. Initially the recruits would ride along with our gang members to learn about our operations and values. Then after a few days we'd create a scenario where the recruit and a gang member would get kidnapped. During this the recruit would be interrogated to see if they'd betray the gang revealing the secrets they've been told. If they did then they weren't allowed to join the gang. This made everyone more involved on keeping RP to a high and made it immersive at the same time.

If I were to be given a third chance on this server. Then I'd bring the same creativity and dedication to roleplay, focusing on making interactions meaningful and enjoyable for everyone. And I'd be focusing on making positive experiences for the community and ensuring that everything I do is within the server's rules and guidelines moving forward and not making any foolish decisions that I made last time.

My goal, should I be allowed back into the server would be to become a Nightclub owner. Alongside this I would create a gang operating out of the nightclub. During the day, we'd be focused on making drugs and weapons and trying to stay low, while at night we'd use the nightclub as a front for social events. It would be a place where everyone is welcome to come, relax and have fun whilst also having the option to buy weapons or drugs discreetly. I think this would create a Positive roleplay experience not just for myself but for the community as well.

Hello @adam22443 , thanks for the response!

Personally, after you've broken the same rule twice, whilst being fully aware of your actions I'm still not yet willing to grant you another chance on this server.
I'd be running the risk of you essentially doing the same thing just because you think you can get away with it.

The effort in your appeal hasn't gone unnoticed, and the door isn't shut forever, but for now it's going to remain a no.

DECLINED
