In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: On the 2nd of October 2021 I was playing just like any other day in prison with two of my friends. When we entered prison we were greeted by two other members of the community, one of them being a good friend of mine who goes by Lewis Smith. Some light hearted banter started between us which slowly escalated into us attacking one another. While this was happening tensions were flaring and the quality of roleplay dropped significantly. It became a matter of someone dying, respawning and then asking each other what had happened to then have a reason to attack again which from both sides of the situation was very immature and also wrong of us all. This is where staff intervened and spoke to me plus my two other friends. In the heat of the moment I said 'Don't bother trying to explain yourself boys as the staff rim granddaddy and Lewis' or something along those lines, which I was banned for under the rule C6.2. At this time I was very annoyed about being banned straight away for that one comment considering how long I had been playing and how many hours I had invested into the game. This is what caused me to enter TeamSpeak so I could question/discuss this with the member of staff. Like I said however, I was not in the right frame of mind to be doing so as I was still very annoyed about the whole thing. The TeamSpeak call ended up being me moaning about the decision and getting frustrated with staff. Bowen then warned me that I would be handed a community ban if I carried on, which I did not listen to. I then left the call with an even worse attitude and discovered that I had been given the community ban and rightly so.
Why should we unban you ?: During the almost two months that I have been gone, I now completely understand the decisions Bowen and the staff team made that day and that I should not of let raw emotions get the better of me especially when its over a video game. The staff team had done nothing that warranted the abuse directed towards them as they were only doing their job by intervening when the quality of roleplay had slowly spiralled into chaos. After my ban I was fast to realise that I was in the wrong but I did not wish to appeal my ban straight away as I have had multiple punishments on the server and seem to never learn my lesson. Instead I wanted to take a nice break and really think about things. I wanted to make sure that if I was unbanned things would actually change and that I wouldn't get caught up in similar situations or let my standard of roleplay continue to slip, asking myself the question 'What do I actually want to do?'.
Should I be unbanned? That is up to the team, but I can truthfully say that I wouldn't let this happen again and I want to come back to the community to really enjoy myself! I have had some great RP experiences on the server in the past and wish to continue that.
I would also like to publicly apologise to Bowen for the unnecessary and rude comments I made towards him but also to 'Lewis' for the DMs in which I was also extremely rude.
