Reason given for your ban: G2.9 C2.2

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was Banned for G2.9 (Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method)-this is the prohibited practice of transferring money / items between my 2 characters. the use of this is prohibited due to it potentially having astronomical impact on the economy, this could create a large unbalance giving some players an edge over others. In my case I ignored this rule to give myself an economic advantage without realising the damaging consequences upon the community and my self receiving the ban. I've also seen I have a C2.2 ban " Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future." I do not remember the exact incident that caused me to receive this ban, id be happy for you to re jog my memory and maybe it will come back to me, apologies for my foggy memory

Why should we unban you ?: I've taken many months out because at the time GTA RP wasn't for me however in the last couple of months I have re found my passion for RP playing various different servers over the last few months but however RPUK offers a different dynamic and experience, I'm eager to return back to the server and right my wrongs. during my short time playing i got evolved in many great RP scenarios with people that I met in the server and I want to get back involved with these people and the wider community. I understand that I have broken the trust that staff and the community put in every player I'm desperate to earn it back but I'm also aware that words are easy so I want to show it within my actions if you do choose to unban me. I've spent a vast amount of time away further developing my knowledge of the rules in hope that i never find myself back here were my appeal to be successful. Please tell me the motive behind your actions?
Why did you purposely disregard the rule? Was it to gain an advantage over other players? To gain access to money/weapons/cars quickly?

Exploiting is exactly what you've done with transferring items between characters. It is very clearly not an intended feature of the game else everyone would be doing it, wouldn't they?

At the time I had 2 characters and eventually decided that I was going to main one of them, my thought process at the time was I didn’t want my hard work on my other character to be lost so naively thought transferring items over would’ve went without punishment, I wasn’t really knowledgably with the rules and didn’t know the strict consequences. Since I’ve started getting more involved with other server I’ve realised how daft this is and honestly it should’ve been common sense. That being said my intention at the time wasn’t as such to gain an advantage I wasn’t even thinking that far ahead stupidly. Now I can clearly see the advantage it did give me and how if this was an un-punishable act server balance wouldn’t exist. Now that I’ve done the act I can realise why it can be so damaging, your right if everyone had access to this they’d be doing it, as the advantage it can give is massive. Cheers busy Luciano

So you weren't fully there with the rules and didn't understand G2.9 correctly is what I've picked from your response.
Surely whilst in the process of doing what you were, you would've thought to yourself that it's clearly not an intended feature of the game? If it was surely every player would be doing this to gain extra money?

Yeah it sounds daft but at the time I was under the illusion it wasn’t an intended feature within the game, but genuinely didn’t go as far to think that it’d be against server rules until you step back and analysis the mass scale this could be done on and how many players could benefit were the rule not to be in place. Sounds stupid typing it now but as a whole RP was so new to me and I didn’t think of how many things come together to create the stable economy etc… it’s a hard one for me to explain especially now I’ve gained the knowledge and know it’s just pure stupidity to not even think about the consequences.

Are you aware that bans of this nature come with conditions? If you were to be given another chance on this server then you'd be allowed back with the following.

You may pick one character which will receive a full wipe (Money, Assets, Items, Houses etc). The other characters which you have on your account will be permanently deleted.
Do you agree to these terms, and if you do please tell me which character you'd like to keep?

Luckily, on this occasion no damage was caused considering you were caught during the act.
This could have potentially caused a lot of damage to the economy and I am sure you're now well aware of this. Your current record is clean(ish) other than some blips with your character names therefore I am willing to give you another chance on the server to prove yourself.

Harper Gorski has received a full wipe and all other characters you had have been permanently deleted as per the unban conditions. I hope to see you return here for roleplay considering that's what the server is here for, not attempting to gain an advantage.
Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent with a very strong chance any appeal you submit will be declined. Please do not waste this chance.
