In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I said I was going to kill a police officer. When the admin began talking to me in-game I did not realise he was out of character and being genuine because I was on Skype and could not hear him, I though he was just joking and I didn't take him seriously.

Why should we unban you ?
I was not aware that it was a genuine situation to be taken seriously so I wasn't able to cooperate to the highest level possible.

Honestly I did not even hear what he was saying, I was on skype and the metagame I caused was a slip up, I tried to cover it up by saying the name was on their badge, but then my friends on skype said that also was not allowed. On other servers I've never come across an admin in-game and I was caught off-guard. When I said 'I did nothing wrong' I was speaking to the police, not trying to get cheeky to the admin.

Hello,

I was talking to Walok in a skype call with another friend at the time of the incident. I have to apologize on my part as I was talking with another person so it was difficult for Walok to hear what was going on. We should have been quiet at let him have the discussion with the other player in question. As you know, skype, unlike teamspeak does not have a mute sound button or hotkey available. So I partly take the blame for his ban. 

He is also quite new to Arma 3 in general and we did run over the rules with him, he must have just have said his name by mistake without realising it. As soon as we heard him say the players name we instantly reminded him that he is not allowed to do it. He tried talking to the player in-game about it but did not know how to say sorry without breaking any more RP. 

Concerning the sentence "get away from me, I did nothing wrong". This is towards the in-game issues. He was referring to whatever he was doing at that time in-game. I think he was in the middle of a run or something and was stopped by police for no reason. I think the player took it as a referral to the breaking of RP. It did not come across the way he intended it to.

I have been friends with Walok for about 14, nearly 15 years now, I know him very well. Trust me when I say when he gets told off he does not repeat the same mistake. Although I think the ban is appropriate for the actions that were made I think he should be given another chance. It is not like him to continue to break rules. Once he learns them fully there will be no more reports to his name. 

If he does get unbanned then I will ensure he goes over the rules again, I will happily run over them with him no matter how long it takes us. Walok is generally a really nice guy and if you have a conversation with him maybe over teamspeak you will see for yourself that he has the best intentions in mind. He is not a toxic player and a real joy to play along side. (Even though he sucks at the game sometimes).

The rule I broke is called metagame. This means doing things that go against role-play and would not happen in real life. It can involve using external factors to affect the game. For example, talking in side-chat, revealing someone's location or what I did, saying someone's name without being told what it is.
