NLR and breaking RP, After I got Vdm'ed I got a bit mad and kinda forgot about the rules and just went beck to the place I got killed at, when I got there I got ran over and knocked out. then I told them that that was rdm and vdm and that they were going to get banned for that. I Sent the video in a report but it kinda backfired as you can see.

Why should we unban you ?
I want to play on the server again because I really liked it, I think I sat out my ban for long enough. I already went through the rules and took notes of the most important ones. I promise this wont happen again.

Rules:

NLR:

NLR (new life rule) means that when you die, you start a new life. that includes that you don't know about anything that happened before you died. while the 15 minute NLR period is active you have to stay at least 1000m away from the location you died at and you may not be involved with the same situation that you died at.

breaking RP:

In game everything has to be role played, except if an Admin tells you you can stop role playing. That means that you can't say things that are about reporting people or anything that doesn't involve role playing.

[SIZE=medium](2.8) Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice. There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice. For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. Please use the forums or teamspeak to report or discuss only (Punishment is a ban) Exception: You may contact someone using the text system if they are not on teamspeak or on the forums. Please only attempt to make this contact in effort to resolve the issue, not to antagonise the other player/users/members. [/SIZE]

 
What has taken you so long to make an appeal? 

 
I found that I did indeed deserve a ban, just not permanent, that's why I waited a while. And now that a lot of my friends are starting to play arma3 (life) again, i would love to join them on the adventure.

 
If you got yourself in the same sort of situation again, What would you do differently and why?

 
If I would get myself into the same situation, I wouldn't return to the place it happened but just make a report on the website or contact an admin. because I'm not allowed to return to the place where I died and i am not allowed to tell them they are getting reported.

I didn't really mean that I forgot about them, I more like didn't pay attention to them while the situation was happening. but I promise that I will keep myself calm if an identical situation happens.




 
How can we trust that you will be able to keep calm?

 
you can trust me, because I've played on this server for a while now and have pretty good stuff. And if I get unbanned I don't want to risk being banned again and losing my progress.

 
Fair enough... however,

As you've found out to your cost, this is a community based on strict rules. Disregarding them has consequences, and once banned, that ban stays on your record permanently. When deciding on whether someone deserves another chance, we look to see what previous bans or warnings they may have and we take this heavily into consideration. In other words, if you find yourself back here putting in an unban appeal in the future you'll find it much harder to get unbanned. Don't screw up, have fun, and welcome back.
