In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was rightly banned for VDM around 2 years ago (if I can remember, but it was a very long time ago).

Why should we unban you ?
When I was banned from the server, I was a lot younger than I am now (it was around 1- 2 years ago) and since then I have learned a lot about the Arma community as a whole. Before I had been banned, I did not take Arma seriously. I had less than 50 hours on both Arma 3 and 2 if I can remember rightly and all I was there to do was to mess around and have fun. Since then, i have played 600 hours on Arma 2 (on my other account) and close to 700 hours on Amra 3. Almost all of those hours on Arma 2 were spent on the island life server ILG where I made great friends and memories. I have learned the importance of treating people with respect and following the rules of the server in order to make it a fun environment for everyone. ILG has sadly been shut down and I have missed the old days where i could get on with my friends and become a police officer for the day and I would love to do that again and be apart of something. I think this server would be perfect for it but unfortunately, because of my idiotic and reckless behavior, I am not currently allowed to do this. If you unban me, i promise that i will NEVER intentionally break the rules of the server and disrespect anyone who is apart of the community again. I can promise you that I have matured and changed completely as a person and seriously want to help the community that I know i will learn to love if you can give me a second chance. I sincerely apologize to everyone that was involved and whos job I made difficult. I have learned from that and i will never do something so stupid again.

VDM - Taken from the rulebook: Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).

This is not allowed here as it completely disregards roleplay by you just running them over with a vehicle for no reason. It is not fair for victims involved as they are just trying to enjoy themselves and roleplay until some lunatic comes and kills them with a vehicle whilst having no regard for the rules (that lunatic was me two years ago). Doing this also means that staff may have to compensate any players who were holding valuable items (such as a lot of money) so it takes them away from other important jobs they need to be doing in order to help the community have fun.
