In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for not giving enough roleplay before killing someone. I had initiated on then and gave them clear commands and told them they would be executed if they didn’t comply. My commands were simple ‘don’t say a f**king word or I’ll hollow your brains out’ the reason for this is I wanted to seize his communications so he couldn’t call his friends for backup. In my opinion if someone told me not to say a word with a gun pointed at me I would keep my mouth firmly shut, however he did not. In my opinion that is fail RP as I would be shitting my shorts and complying with whatever they said to save my life. However it has been deemed that he was okay to talk and say ‘I’m going to put my hands up now’ which we all know he is hotmicing to his mates to come save him. Clearly breaking what I had told him to do, so I shot him. I didn’t count down, I didn’t kill him without reason, however it did all happen extremely fast. And for this I can see where there may be an element of confusion for everyone. Deleter has ruled it not viable roleplay and I respect his descion and have taken what happened on board, however I do think that people being held at gunpoint should do exactly what the capturer says not try and be smart as it’s not high quality roleplay, that’s playing to win. I believe I did exactly what I said I was going to do, and kept it in roleplay. However I can see where deleter is coming from with how quickly it happened.
Why should we unban you ?
I believe I stuck to my roleplay and the ‘victim’ is claiming it all happened so quickly, which it did, however he didn’t follow clear cut demands. However after reading deleters response I can see that it happened quickly. In the future I will keep timing and awareness in mind when killing someone. I am a good role player in the server and often spend most of my time roleplaying. I enjoy the server and play most nights, I have been around for years and often help new players. Yes I have been banned in the past, however only one of these has been for poor rp and the rest have been for silly other mistakes I have made, everyone makes mistakes. I apologise to SovietStorm and hope I can continue playing on the server. In future I will consider timing over my threats as this was clearly the issue. I will also consider further warnings to continue the RP so everyone enjoys themselves as that is the point of the server. My other ban for poor RP was due to someone being silent and not interacting with players, I intiated fairly, killed him and then executed. I should of spoke to him before the execution, which I didn’t. This was a mistake and hasn’t happened since. I hope I can continue to help the server grow and help develop the community. Apologies again for the poor timing.
