In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I believe I was banned because the reporter believed that I "RDM"' killed him in Agios. In the discussion I had with the reporter, he stated that he believed I was in the Greenzone, however, I think that I was outside the Greenzone as at the time of the shots, I attempted to move outside it before the shots were taken by following what is shown on the map. I do acknowledge that at the time, I misinterpreted the "Active Gunfight" rule. At the time, I thought that the rule meant that anyone in the area of the fight can be shot if they do not reply (in the video you cannot hear me telling him to leave the area, even though I did.), however now I know that I did make a mistake when I opened gunfire, without knowing if he had a weapon.

Why should we unban you ?
Firstly, I believe that the report and ban were unjustified as at the time of the shots, three players in rebel gear attacked and downed 2 of my friends (Lewis G and Ali). This makes the area an active gunfight, and I completely misinterpreted the rule as I was not aware that if they are not armed with a gun that I could not shoot them. In the TeamSpeek call, I did apologise for this and asked whether there was anything I can do (he suggested compensation for a broken rule!) and acknowledged I was wrong in this. Also, in my TeamSpeak chat with the player, he never said he wasn't grouped with the people who attacked my friends. He only stated "Even if I was in their group..." and when I asked him if he was with them, he would never give in answer. I then left the chat as I knew all he wanted was compensation and I did not want to give compensation for a "reportable offense" as that is against the rules. Furthermore, he does not show the active gunfight in his clip before the "RDM", as during the starting moments of his clip, he is running in the area where initial shots were fired and where my 2 friends were killed. He cuts it out, not showing the RDM of my friends, and he could've even left the group/Gang that did the RDM in that time! This clip is not accurate! Also, before I fired my shots, I did ask him to leave the area multiple times! I cannot hear my voice in his clip. I did not record this as I believed that this was not a serious occurrence until I was asked to into team speak over 15 minutes later! This player needs to have voice chat volume up at all times!
I believe that I should be unbanned as this report does not show events before the "RDM" accurately, meaning it is unreliable. Also, I will be a valuable asset to the server as I am part of Gang of a group of friends where we progress on the server together and have a great time. Furthermore, I was interested in seeking better Roleplay roles, especially becoming an NHS member as I would love to take part in that. I also think I could improve NHS as sometimes, many of my friends believe there is a lack of medics for the amount of people so if I were a medic, I could improve the experience for everyone. Moreover, I am an excellent roleplayer. For example, When questioned by Chief Superintendent Gordan why I had a gun in my bag, I roleplayed the situation, not only making the weapons valid (after paying the illegal weapon fine), I also was seeked out by News reporters about the stories of my "antique MX 6.5mm". This made for a funny and entertaining opportunity for everyone who took part, making their experience on the server greater than it already is. I love the role play aspect and it would be a shame to be banned over a silly mistake from such a great server. Finally, I will re-re-re-read the rules until I know the correct thing to do in situations like those, and I will NOT make mistakes like I have again on the server. Please reconsider this ban,

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

The gentleman was not in a gunfight with yourself? posed no lethal threat to yourself and the only shots I hear get fired in that situation are the bullets coming out of your gun at 5:16.

He asked you to join straight away in side chat, as shown in his video. He is not the one to blame, you as a player are the one responsible to ensure that initiation is heard, is clear and is up to standard with our rules .

So please explain to use rule 2.2 and your understanding of the rule.

I am sorry that I put up that question. Its just that I really wanted a reply was really eager for an answer. I completely understand that it may have looked like I was really being pushy to the process. My apologies for that. I did understand that there was no time scale, yet I was just looking for a vague number. Sorry about that. Now that I look at it, I understand where the player was coming from, yet I made a completely rash in the moment decision that he was attempting to bait my attention to himself, and then I would be killed by the previous group that had RDm my friends. Again, this descision by me was completely rash and I understand I have broken rule 2.2. However, I did not see this person's message in the chat until 10 - 15 minutes after the gunfight and I am sure I would've seen it if it was before then as I usually look at the chat. Also, I had 4 other friends currently in the server and they would've notified me if I was being requested. Furthermore, I do agree with your point that I should've made the initiation more clear if he did not reply in the first place.

   I understand that the punishment for breaking rule 2.2 is a ban and I did break this rule. I was wondering if this ban is permanent or will expire in the coming weeks as I previously enjoyed playing on the server.

@JohnJoeegan, please tell me to leave if I have no right to post here, however I made the report on RhysDRT. I have a video of our chat over TeamSpeak which will call out RhysDRT's blatant lies.

I'm all for giving people a second chance so I'm not here to stop that, however if you persist to use lies to get that second chance, why would anyone believe that you will obey the rules like you say?

Here is the video in question.

Lie number 1 - "In the TeamSpeek call, I did apologise for this and asked whether there was anything I can do" -  The video proves zero apologies made with one offer of compensation which until the end when RhysDRT believes he did nothing wrong and leaves the chat, which throws the offer out the window. Compensation offer is at 04:14 - RhysDRT states he believes he did nothing wrong and proceeds to leave the chat at 06:32.

Lie number 2 - "and acknowledged I was wrong in this." - Zero acknowledgment of being in the wrong throughout the video unless I can prove evidence I wasn't in a gun fight. Guilty till proven innocent? 04:15.

Lie number 3 - "Also, in my TeamSpeak chat with the player, he never said he wasn't grouped with the people who attacked my friends. He only stated "Even if I was in their group..." and when I asked him if he was with them, he would never give in answer." -  The video proves this is a lie as you can hear me very clearly state that I wasn't with any friends or gangs at 00:47.

Lie number 4 - "I then left the chat as I knew all he wanted was compensation and I did not want to give compensation for a "reportable offense" as that is against the rules." - My video proves that at no point did I ask for compensation because he broke the rules. Near the end of the video at 06:25 I ask for compensation for the items I've lost. Not as blackmail for threatening to report, which appears to be what RhysDRT is suggesting.

Lie number 5 - At 02:12 RhysDRT states he wasn't by the garage. The video used to report him proves he was next to the garage which can also be seen at 03:52.

For the record, my VON volume is turned all the way up.
