In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I broke the rules which i knew i should have followed, i did this by fail RP and taking a cop hostage which was stupid to do and i regret it.

Why should we unban you ?
Because i have a couple of months to think about what i have done and i know what i have done wrong and i regret and personally i feel like this was the most fun server i have ever been on and i would love to play it again.

okey lets start this off with you Quoting me the rules you broke, And explain why we have these in place.

You must remain in character at all times, unless a uniformed Admin authorises you to speak out of character. Roleplay everything.

Lethal weapons must be holstered in blue zones. This rule does not apply to the police. Breaking this rule can result in being kicked from the server.

if these rules weren't in place then it will defeat the real life experience the player has when playing on the server

Are you saying you knew it was against the rules but decided to say 'screw it' and broke them anyway? If so, why?

This was the first server i ever played on and only played about 4 hours on the server. I just listened to what my friend told me was allowed and not allowed and i didn't read the rules. I was really intrigued by taking a cop hostage so i thought i could just go and knock one out. Since my ban i have read the rules and now have over 150 hours on arma rp so i know whats right and wrong.

If i wanted to take a cop hostage i would use proper roleplay and stay in character. I would also not do it in the blue zone.

i would say. Put your hands up or i will shoot. I would then repeat this 3 times so he clearly hears me and if he tries to pull a gun out or does not put his hands up on the 3rd attempt i will kill him.

so you think this is enough to rp in order to kill someone. or take him hostage :/

You're supposed to create some context for the situation, see where it goes and if you still want to take the cop hostage you then start with the threats to their life.
