In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was at school in my robotics lesson and I had discord open on my laptop as I was messaging CSI Mikkel and SI Wolfy. I went to go talk to my friends as they were stuck on coding some of the robotics. About 5-10 minutes later I came back to my laptop and saw that my friend had been using my computer. I didn't worry as the programming software was installed on it. I then took the laptop and went to return to talk discord to talk to Mikkel and Wolfy. I then scrolled through the servers trying to find "Roleplay UK", I couldn't find it so I confronted him asking where the server is or if he had done anything whilst I was away. After I looked at him and he started to smirk and laugh a little, so I asked him what had he done or said. He then responded saying "I commented on the off topic or banter channel". I then asked what did he comment and he replied with "N****". At that point, I got mad at my friend saying that it's a very serious server and you cannot say those kinds of words on that server and if you did the person using the word would be permanently banned without an appeal. Him and some other friends who know I play on a roleplay community started to laugh asking if they could play some roleplay (being trolls). I then started worrying that I was banned so I contacted Mikkel over steam asking what I could do and if I was to ever get unbanned.

Why should we unban you ?
You should unban me because in future I will keep my discord secured to me only so only I can message and view messages on discord so I can ensure this never happens again. Another reason why is that I have been a member of the community for a very long time. I joined on March 12, 2016. I am also a Surgeon in the NHS, also I have been a member of Altis Police Force for a long time also I am the Deputy of NPAS. I really enjoy this community it was the first roleplay community I joined and it's the only big one I've had the joy being apart of. If I am fortunate in being unbanned I will not break any rules on teamspeak, discord or in game. Also, I am a person who doesn't like using offensive and racial language and I guarantee I will never say any words that may offend or hurt other members of this community. Also I am not like my immature friends who think it is acceptable to say racial comments without any consideration towards other people, plus as I have said I have been a member of this community for a long time and it means quite a bit to me so why would I go using these comments in the community where it would affect my position in RPUK.

Yes, I did say that one Facebook but only because I didn't want to explain the proper story on facebook as I was asking for advice on what to do as I had been banned. The story I put in this appeal is the complete truth of what happened yesterday. I mainly couldn't be bothered to type up the proper story on facebook because I was really worried that I would have no chance of writing this appeal so I just said that I went for a piss and came back, but I'm pretty sure I didn't mention anything about being at home (which I wasn't). The only alteration I made was that I went to have a piss instead of going to help my other friends which I did do. Instead of telling the complete truth on Facebook I said that because I was more concentrating on whether I would even have a chance to appeal as this community means a lot to me.

This was posted in a group chat with a few of us police officers. Whilst I obviously don't count for much here, I'd like to comment that I can't imagine this being something Quinn would do himself.

I am going to need to treat this one as I would with anyone else who's account types the N word on any of our servers / platform, firstly i will say you are lucky no one has reported that to discord as they would ban your entire discord account.

This is your account its your responsibility who has access to that, as its come from your account its treated as you typed it.

As it was put on discord it makes it more serious as we are an official partner it is our responsibility to govern our discord with our rules and discords rules and sometimes in these semi public channels it takes some time for us to get to unlike the public channels.

So to keep things fair to everyone else its unfortunate that i must process a 1.2 permanent ban, however we have a Facebook account which can be messaged and i am sure your mates who were involved wouldn't mind coming forward to try and help you out to admit what they did and give there steam accounts, We will then decide after further checks if we can revoke the ban and enforce it on your friends or reduce the appeal time which current stands at 6 months.
