I don't remember what server I was banned on, since this was over a year ago.
I was running around in Kavala with a pistol, and robbed people in clothing stores, general markets a lot of times in a row. I did initiate "properly", but It was pretty much just "hands up or die" -kind of RP, which doesn't really cut it. As I was robbing people I suddenly got banned with a perm-ban, my first and only ban if i remember correctly (not stating this, but I think this is correct.).
Why should we unban you ?
I think I should be given a second chance since I have invested so much time into the server, and I don't feel like my whole personality should be decided forever over one mistake. I know very well that i did something stupid. Now, a lot of old friends have decided to come back to the server, and I'd love to be able to play on these servers again and be given a second chance that I will not take to waste.
I have re-read the rules, and will be playing with friends who know the rules and social norms around here well. I hope that my future positive contributions to this server will help make up for that idiotic mistake I did in a weak moment.
I don't know how long you want these appeals to be, but that's pretty much all I have to say. I was acting like an idiot and deserved to be banned. Since this is a long time ago I'm hoping I can be unbanned so that I once again play this game like it's supposed to be played.
My unban appeal was recently timed out because I thought it would take a lot longer to get it processed. I will answer the questions I got here:
"DainMK: Please explain to me in your own words the rules surrounding RDM. Also, if you do get unbanned, what kind of robberies can I expect from you going forward?"
My idea of RDM is killing someone without proper roleplay beforehand. You should play on the server mainly to RP, not to kill people, that's what TDM and wasteland servers are for. A person is breaking the RDM rule if they have no intent to roleplay at all, and just go "hands up or your dead" and then proceed to shoot someone. Everyone should get a fair chance to use RP to get out of a situation before being shot.
In the future, I probably won't be robbing much in the beginning, but rather re-establish myself on the server and hopefully get into some interesting RP situations. Nonetheless I will at some point rob someone again, and I will most definiately not do it the way I did when I was banned. A fair chance will be given to those being rob, and if their RP is good I might not even rob them at all.
I'm sorry I didn't see DainMK's response to my thread soon enough, thus wasting his time. I will monitor this thread more closely if you have any other questions.
