Reason given for your ban.
Perm Ban - Money Hacker MPGH Forums

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I remember clearly why I was banned, of course I have it found to be toxic (my own behaviour), I was seen on the website MPGH asking for a hacker to spawn in money for me in the server. Needless is to say what is wrong with this behaviour and why do I find it wrong and needed punishment.

Why should we unban you ?
It's been more than 2 years since I've been banner and since then I have been maturing and I no longer have that kind of behaviour, in these years I have played in other servers and many other games and never did I cheat on any online game that I played since then.
I want to experience role-playing again I guess, I found this server fun back in the day and as one of the biggest UK servers around I must say that I want to come back to the community as a new person and experience the server again. And RPing is what I like about ARMA, that's one of the main reasons why I want to return, it's hard to find an actual good server with decent community and staff, I only have very few examples of servers that meet such criteria. Moral of the story, I love role-playing!
I recognise my behaviour was disrespectful towards the staff and other players, I have had more than a year to reflect on it and mature, I don't believe I'll ever commit the same error that I have in the past. All in all, I feel like I'm not who I was before, I would never try to cheat on any game again.

This is not just you trying to cheat, it is attempting to call in a whole third party to ruin the enjoyment for our playerbase, which was the completely unacceptable thing. I can understand you can have changed over the past 2 years, but honestly what made you think that this was okay back then? It baffles me.

What made me think that way? My own naivety is the only answer I can honestly give. Being too young and thinking that your actions don't influence anyone else is a thing that was once my mindset, unfortunately it is all an illusion and of course the case didn't escalate to the point where it actually affected anybody (No hacker actually ever joined the server per my request) but the sheer possibility that it could've influenced anybody in the server it is already bad enough and offence against you people. Well I can't give you an actual reply as to why I ever thought it was alright, in fact deep down maybe I was aware it was wrong and still did it, in the end it all comes down simply to me being stupid at that time. I can't apologise enough to everyone in the server for how I acted in the past. I'm fully aware of my wrong doings and know their severity against the whole staff and player-base.

In the hopes that I be pardoned for what I once did,

There is a famous saying that most people say in cases like this, Once a cheat always a cheat. How can I be sure that you won't try and cheat again?

I'm afraid your so prised "famous saying" is no longer applicable and possibly outdated, I mean if people change along the years in terms of personality is this even something worth considering as a true statement? And in fact it doesn't even apply to this case correctly.

First of all I'd like to clear something up, I never actually personally cheated on an online game, this situation arose when I asked someone else to do that cheating for me.

Secondly I'm going to be 100% honest and truthful with you, would anything I say suffice to convince you? There's so many "what if you're just trying to jest me?" scenarios. Would talking to a few of my friends be enough? Would I coming fully to the public of this community (Which I effectively have done in this post) and facing the humiliation of admitting my wrong doings and asking for forgiveness enough? Specify what do you want me to do in order to convince you, because I as an individual can only pledge to you that I won't even think about cheating again.

Finally I would just like to conclude with a saying of mine, "If nothing's eternal, neither is the mindset of Mankind.".

Sincerely,

-Peter (Black Jesus)
