Reason given for your ban.
Poor Rp

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Essentially, I gave poor rp when talking to someone who just spawned in and I didn't give him much time to respond, pretty much a hands up or die situation, I was new to the server at the time and I didn't read the rules, my apologies.

Why should we unban you ?
I was acting out of hand at the time and had not read the rules thoroughly. I was banned a while back (2 years) and I would be very grateful to now be un-banned. I feel i'm more mature now in comparison to two years ago and now that I have read the rules I believe I would offer better RP for the other players as well as myself.

Thanks for your time, hope to hear from you soon.

Can you quote us the rule you broke and explain it to us in your own words ?

The rule in question: "(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together."

Essentially, the rule is in place to ensure that RP is carried out to the highest of standards when initiating with another player in a combat scenario. It makes sense that the rule is in place as it acts as a precedent for the level of roleplay to be expected on the server. Having now read the rule I understand entirely that my ban was indeed warranted at the time, and also know for the future the standard of RP to be expected from me and likewise; other players.

And if put in a similar situation again, what would you do different?

I believe that if I maintain a high level of RP, a situation like this will most likely be avoidable in its entirety, as it was the poor RP that landed me in the situation which led to my justified ban.

Therefore I believe the chances of me being in a situation like this again is very unlikely.

That being said, if I did happen to fall into a situation similar to this one, I would ensure that the scenario is dealt with the upmost realism and fair play to the participating role-player.

I believe that if this were to happen, the scenario would play out differently with both parties giving each other adequate time to negotiate and respond to one another instead of the previous poor representation of what the community stands for.

Have you re-read the rules and now do you understand them?

Yes, I have now read the rules and feel that I will be able to partake in higher quality RP for both myself and other members of the roleplay.co.uk community.

Unbanned do not make the same mistake again.
