I said a sentence containing the word gulag, said "gay game", said "retarded", "he is autistic or something he breaks rules 24/7"

Why should we unban you ?
Because I didnt think "retard" or "gulag" was a swear word and the "gay game" isnt specified towards anyone and if someone is gay then calling them gay is like calling a straight person straight. Gulag is just a gulag, a work camp not a concentration camp. All of this was done in my first week playing the game and all of them were part of conversation and are out of context when seen on their own. I havn't said anything bad which could offend anyone unless the guy who broke the rules all the time was actually autistic and not a troll where im sure he wouldnt mind been called autistic. Know that I know retard is a terrible word then I wont use it again but I haven't said anything other than retard which I said once today for at least a week or so. Ill call people stupid instead then if they do something stupid in ooc instead. Unless someone has been offended I dont see why I should be banned for this words which are used all the time all over the internet unless someone has actually been offended and reported me where I could talk it out with them or something rarther than an admin just banning me for it.

Before we go any further I'd like you to do some research for me.

Head out onto google and give me a few paragraphs about what a gulag actually is, what they were used for and the results of their use in history and the related death toll. Then tell me if you still think they were 'just work camps'.

Gulags were corrective Labour camps not death camps. 

Here's a quote for you comparing them to concentration camps "The Nazi concentration camps were far worse, I'd venture to guess. The Nazi camps actively tried to work people to death (literally), whereas the Gulag, while being a forced labor camp, did not abide by NEARLY as gruesome a mentality."

People there weren't actively pushed to death although they did have terrible conditions leading to just over 1,000,000 deaths. 

And the only reason I mentioned Gulags was replying someone who said his family died in one (clearly jokingly) so I said only half of mine did. And now knowing that the rules expand to sensitive words such as Gulags I wont be saying it again (if im unbanned) and will flat out stay out of OOC unless its to help someone with what buttons to press etc which I try to do as much as possible.

I'd like to know your sources and what particular time period you're referencing as that's not anywhere near the estimated figures (however there will never be any definitive amount..)

Aside from that, the attitude and toxicity that comes from you and your actions doesn't give me any confidence that this sort of behaviour will cease to exist if you were to be unbanned..

It's not pleasant, period. Is it? Is this really the sort of behaviour and environment you want to play the game in? Personally for me I don't. I'd like you to really consider if this community is for you, because there are plenty others you can expose yourself to if that's what you really want out of a gaming community.

It will completely stop, I only mentioned it once as I said and if unbanned I will just stay out of OOC except for helping people like I said, never said anything toxic to anyone to offend people. And no it isnt pleasant and that is why I have never directed anything offensive to anyone I know would take offence and why I wont be using language like that to anyone else again. 

And yes Gulags were better than concentration camps (Obviously still terrible places not trying to make them out to be something nice) , more people died in them because of the larger time frame and population put into them. They were used for hard labour not death where as concentration camps were (after 1942/late 41) and if the Nazis lasted longer or even won lots more people would of died in concentration camps than Gulags. (Considering 11 million people were killed in under 5 years by concentration camps, around 6 million poles killed in under 5 years from a country with only 35 million citizens)

And this is the community I truly want to be apart of on Arma and I have always spoke to people ingame with full politness, respect and understanding so I have no reason to carry on using any toxic language and have never had an attitude towards anyone. And at the time I said these things I was new to the server and didnt understand how severe the language rule was until recently and that is why it all occured within a short time period from when I first joined.

On top of all this, you've already been warned twice prior for breaking roleplay and threatening to report people.  Then we had this situation which was the final straw. 

The question is, how can we, as a staff team, be sure that you'll keep your word? How do we know that you'll be able to stop being toxic, stop caling people autists and retards? How can we be sure that in a weeks time, a months time or even longer this won't just happen again?

If you give me another chance you will see I can be trusted, as i've said I didnt know how severe the language rule was and I didnt insult anyone at any time.

The first time I spoke to an admin was on my first or second day on playing when I was new to the server and didnt know all the rules and had robbed someone with poor RP and it never happened again, the second time was about the greenzone flying rule where I think the admin thought I was trying to store my helicopter in the garage but I was just trying to land my helicopter on a flat roof. Once I did that I had never done it again just as I wont be saying anything toxic in OOC again. You have been able to trust me for the prior issues and you can with this, now that I know how serious the rule is and how far it extends I have no reason to speak like this in game knowing it could result in a ban. 

Edit: When I threatened someone that was because I was new and poor and got angry I had just been VDM'd. I have never broken a rule twice and have no reason to break any more rules including the language one. And the second time when I spoke to the admin (about the heli in greenzone) is because I asked about it not because the admin felt the need to punish me in any way. This is the proof you need to know I wont do this again in a week or a month etc as it would be a final warning and you would deserve the right to permanently ban me for it. I am just asking for another chance and if I mess it up I accept to ban me and that is why I wont do it again. Not only that but now I have managed to make enough money to play for fun and to not get angry when being VDM'd or RDM'd etc the last thing I would want to do is secure a permanent ban
