In your own words, Please type why you think you was banned
I did in fact shoot someone while I we were both in the greenzone. This was not an attempt to circumvent or break the rules, but I may have misunderstood what is and isn't allowed. The circumstance was that someone had engaged me in the greezone by threatening me with a firearm, so I did in fact fire upon that person. Given my ban, I am guessing that either that is not allowed or I misunderstood whether or not that person was lethally engaging me.

Why should we unban you.
I have played on this server for a few weeks now and this has been my only instance of misunderstanding the rules. I have gotten into many fun roleplaying exchanges with players and I hope that I may continue to do so.

Addendum: After re-reading the rules on greenzones, it seems I misinterpreted someone telling me to put my gun away as a threat. They were more likely referring to the rule that all weapons must be holstered in greenzones, which I had forgotten at the time. It is worth mentioning however that the person who said that to me did in fact have their gun out when they said it. I had just spent a fair bit of money on gear and I was afraid to lose it to someone rdm'ing me, so I acted rashly in that situation. It will not happen again if I am allowed to play here in the future. 

 
Can you explain the safezone rules in your own words

 
The safezones (Greenzones) exist so that players can roleplay without the threat of being robbed/killed by other players. No hostile actions may be committed in these zones. This includes, but is not limited too: shooting players, knocking out players, picklocking vehicles, robbing players, and brandishing a weapon. Safe zones may not be entered in order to escape combat. These zones can be found in police stations, hospitals, and popular cities such as Kavala. 

 
What is the RDM rule? Seems that acording to @JamzYou've also RDM'd. Jamz do you have some notes as there is none on the statspage?

All that I can remember is him holding a gun to another unarmed mans head in the greenzone and pulling the trigger, to which I then Actioned a ban. No recordings. Sorry 

 
RDM (random death match) is attacking another player without initiating roleplay. I do not think that the situation that led to my ban however was an instance of RDM. The person who I shot, who was unarmed at the time, had in fact verbally engaged me with their gun out, and had just recently put it away. To be specific, I would like to point out that this person was saying to me "come on, shoot me," which in my opinion is fail RP to say that in the greenzone when you know that it is against the rules for someone to shoot you there. Not saying that excuses my shooting of him but I felt it was worth mentioning. 

 
To be perfectly honest I was relying on my knowledge from other altis life servers where if someone engages you in the greenzone you can in fact defend yourself rather than rely upon the admins to ban that person and compensate you for your losses due to their hostility. I did in fact  read your rules before this incident but it would be dishonest of me to say that I had memorized them. 

I have addressed this ban and I have explained the circumstances from my perspective regarding my lack of judgement to the best of my ability, I am not sure what other information I can provide at this point.

Please reread all server rules and make sure that you understand them all.

 
Okay, I have spent my time during this ban going over any and all of the server rules that I was previously unclear on. Specifically green zone rules, and rules of engagement. I am fairly certain that I understand these rules to the extent where I will not make any more mistakes related to following the rules of the server.
