I was banned because i broke the rule of VDM and Combat logging,

Why should we unban you ?
I think that i should be unbanned because I feel bad for combat logging, and this is such a great server, all of my friends currently play it, and i feel left out out, and subsequently i regret my VDM and Combat logging actions. This was my favorite server to play on and I have changed over the past 11 months that i have been banned for. Please unban me i will never do this again.

You dont even know why you are banned, where on earth did you see that you are banned for 2.1? 

You are banned for 2.2, 6.0.1 & 2.5, find the rules on the rulespage, copy-paste them, then explain the rules in your own words and then explain why we have those rules in place.

I am abit unsure as to how serious you are about this appeal, seeing as you've tried connecting multiple times, gotten the kick message, but yet manages to write that you are banned for VDM, saying that you feel bad for and regret a rulebreak that you did not even commit. 

 
Okay, I have read over the rules again and took them under greater consideration. The rules are as stated,
"(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play is considered RDM. (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) Punishment is a ban."

"(6.0.1) You must not abuse the boundaries of any marked zone on the map. Using the boundary to troll/taunt or temporarily gain protection is forbidden."

"(2.5) Combat logging at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first)."

To my understanding, Rule 2.2 means killing players for no reason (trolling, etc.) , Rule (6.0.1) means abusing areas like the greenzone to get out of combat-like situations etc., and Rule (2.5) simply means logging off the server to avoid combat with another player etc. Looking back now, I truly regret my stupid decisions in breaking the rules, I can really see how breaking these rules can really ruin the fun and realism of the game. I would not want to be getting RDM'd or combat logged during my gameplay because that simply ruins the game and I see that now. I would really like to play on this server again, since my friends and I really enjoyed this server specifically. 

I truly regret my stupid decisions and am now willing to play by the rules, and to enjoy the server with my friends for what it truly is. I have learned from my ban and I hope you will give me the opportunity and second chance for this server because this server is truly in my opinion and my friends opinions the best and highest class RPG server in Arma 3.

Now that we've established your understanding of these rules and you have your own outlook on the wisdom of breaking them, please tell us what are your intentions should you be unbanned? 

I.e what will you be getting up to on the server. 

 
Thank you for taking the time to read and reply. My intentions are to get jobs with my friends (mining, deliveries, etc.), make money, explore the giant map and mostly just to have fun with the roleplay aspect of arma. I know that what I did was wrong and against the rules and I completely acknowledge and admit my mistakes. I can assure you I won't do the same mistakes again. I'd just like to enjoy this server with my friends and the roleplay community for what it is. I'd also like to point out that after acknowledging my mistakes I will try my best to help the staff in any way to prevent other players from breaking more rules such as I have (by reporting them to the staff).

 
According to my notes i can see you got a warning just 5 days before your ban.

Is there a reason you didn't read the rules when the admin told you to read them ? Or did you just trolling around and didn't think the rules where for you ?

 
I did not read the rules entirely before, I'll admit to that and yes I guess you could say I was trolling around and I don't know why. I guess I underestimated a punishment for what I did. I fully know and understand the rules now and I have learned from my mistake. The rules are for everyone to follow and those who break them do indeed deserve a penalty.
