After trying to get my point across to another admin, and getting a little worked up about it, i apologised at the end and then went to speak to the people who were part of the event.

Why should we unban you ?
I feel this was a unfair ban after just having a discussion about how i see it, and the admin involved saying "he can see it from my side aswell"

I banned you for referring to Droge Worst as a "Bonehead" which after I googled the meaning it means "Neo Nazi". I explained to you that Droge Worst is a staff member and he got that position due to his high server knowledge and being highly respected member of the community. I explained that if you said anything worse than you said about Droge I would have issued a ban as at the time I didn't know what "Bonehead" meant. 

He also was apart of a dispute where I had issue a lot of warnings to the people involved. 

(13.2) Abuse/swearing or unpleasant behaviour towards the staff team is not acceptable (Punishment is a community ban without appeal)

I think there has been a misunderstanding, i didnt call him a bonehead, i said that i found the actions of him driving into a live combat zone pretty stupid. I didnt personally insult him, just the actions going towards this event.








Also. Bonehead doesent mean neonazi in the first place. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/bonehead

Also, i tried resolving this without having to go through the forums and having my name dragged through the mud. Thus, why at the end before i left the channel i said "look i have no hard feelings, i hope you dont have any against me" Would i have said that if i thought/said he was a "neonazi" as you claim? No is the answer.

I'm saying that i think you misheard. Because 1. I'm 100% against anything to do with nazi propaganda. and 2. At the end of the conversation i tried to make up with him, i would much rather discuss this in a calm manner over teamspeak rather than over the forums if possible.

Also, bonehead has multiple meanings, so don't trust the first result from UD (if you look below it will also show what i quoted it as). Perhaps in the US where those sort of groups were popular it means that, in the UK, it doesent.

I think the term you may have got it mixed up with was boneheaded (the only thing i could think it might ever be?)  (plural) Meaning - stubborn

I heard you say Bonehead and so did Hoggie who was also in the channel (Hoggie is not a staff member, but a staff member and a community member both hearing you say "Bonehead").

This is the last time I'm posting on this unban appeal as I have put all my input of what happened in.

So, can you stop believing the first thing google throws up, and possibly check when someone say's "that's not what it means"

Oh, and 5. If i did possibly insult droge, i apologise, I did make an attempt at the end of the meeting to make amends for the event that happened, but apparently my ban revolves around the word "bonehead" meaning neo nazi, which it just doesn't in 95% of the modern world. 

I would still like to follow through with this appeal, actually speaking to another admin via teamspeak (perhaps arranging a meeting at a certain time?) Because i do enjoy this server, and i honestly enjoy playing it with my 4-5 other friend's.

Also, after doing a little bit of research, i found out that the term bonehead, was used in the 70's to describe what you're saying it is, Thus it's not the same meaning nowerdays. I don't think it's fair to assume that i meant a meaning from the 70's (almost 30 years before i was even born)  when saying that word. When the actual meanings i have presented would coincide with my case of saying it was a stupid mistake to make. 

 
Btw: I had nothing to do with this ban, as we resolved the situation peacefully. I think the word bonehead fell before or after I was in the room. Also I would like to add this:

Ok, so i think the lock has been lifted?

So what's happening then? I've shown that what he thought i said was wrong in meaning. (previous posts with multiple Actual meanings, one being Oxford dictionary.) So what's happening here?  @Droge Worst@Professor bobmarley

Honestly i would like to get this whole ordeal over with and get back to playing with my friend's. 

It was a misunderstanding of words, me and Droge ended the situation in a peaceful manner. This whole situation i feel was blown up way too large. And i apologise for saying something which lead up to this misunderstanding @Droge Worst If anything like this happens again, i'm just going to get it over and done with as fast as possible and get it resolved with minimal external communication (IE: Asking how much comp, paying it if at all possible, much like how this got resolved but without me being a bit too self righteous about the situation)

 
Alright... The ban was given by BobMarley. When I was not in the room. You called me bonehead, according to Bobmarley. What did you mean with that?

 
@Droge WorstIt was during the time when we were talking and you refused to accept that driving into a combat zone was a little silly, the only use of "boneheaded" i knew of before having to research it for the purpose of this thread was essentially meaning stubborn (IE: not listening to what i was saying) 

Nothing Offensive was meant by it, i was just commenting how i thought you were being stubborn and not listening to what i had to say, However as you admitted, you were also partly at fault for driving into the combat zone and this was resolved. (You listened to me and we sorted the situation) Nothing more, nothing less. 

Also, the ban was given after the whole situation was sorted even though the comment was made about halfway through the situation. Once the situation had been resolved i left the channel to speak to the group who i was working with at the time (NV i think?) And we were planning something else, then mid conversation with them i received the ban.

 
Alright, enough information for another Staff member to take a decision on this as I was partly involved.

@Droge WorstRight'o, so the post say's waiting for player. Should i have received a pm from another admin about this. Or just waiting to make sure i am still wanting to do this?

Although i would like to rectify what @Professor bobmarleysaid. I can say with 100% that it was before it was resolved. Because if you checked the logs i left the channel after it was resolved and didn't join back. So it was said during the conversation during while the issue was going on.
