In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was robbing the bank with teammates and made a deal with the negotiator that the hostages would not be harmed providing we could leave. He reluctantly agreed to this ultimatum. While my team mate points a gun at the hostages’ head I walked outside the back of the bank at which point an officer opened fire on me. Due to the blatant disregard of the hostage’s life I was killed. Shortly after a medic revived me at which point I turned and discharged my weapon into the first officer I was able to see as I had not been restrained or tased by any officers on the ground and believed my death was caused due to a lack of correct roleplay.

Why should we unban you ?
You should unban me as the reason for my death and ban was caused by a single undertrained officer. I have been playing the server for a long time and feel I can bring good and rule abiding role play to further situations. I also appreciate that i made a mistake and did infact break the rule in question after forgetting it in the heated moment. In the future i will put more restraint into my actions and continue to provide more accurate and rule abiding roleplay.

The rule i broke is: ("When you are revived / dowened: You may not actively enter or continue any combat situation for the next 15 minutes.Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.While you are downed you may not divulge tactical information to anyone. The exception to this is information spoken in direct chat in game. Please be mindful that you are heavily injured and should act accordingly.")

This rule means that you may not return/continue a gun fight or combat situation until afer 15 minutes has passed since the medic revived you. While you are down you are not able to given information to teammates meaning no sending texts or speaking over radio. However, if this information is given through direct chat it is allowed. When downed you must act accordingly for example not speaking clearly after being shot in the head. Once revived by the medic your character still  retains memorys from before being downed. Meaning you can hunt the person who shot you after 15 minutes.

This rule is in place for multiple reasons. I would argue that the main reason is to stop the exploiting of constant revives when medics are not present on the server. However this rule also means that when downed the police or enemy combatents no longer have to worry about being shot by the same person, once they have been downed.

If put in a similar situation again, what would you do different ?

if presented with the same situation, being revived infront of a police officer without restraints, i would continue to stay facing the floor and comply with all commands given to me by the officer. In the event of an officer not being present i would proceed to leave the area in a timely manner with my gun holsterd or put into a backpack. In my case i would proceed to file a complain about the officer within the official administation.
