The date of your ban.
12/10/2016

Member of the team that banned you.
FramerGiles

Reason given for your ban.
LNR

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 2

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I went back to where I had just been RDM'D and got kicked for braking a rule after someone had broken one on me

Why should we unban you ?
Because I believe my ban to be unreasonable and does not deserve a ban. I had just been RDM'D by a group of people with AR's who wanted my helicopter. So without thinking about the rules i rushed back to try and get my helicopter back as I thought it to be unfair. I truly love the RP nature of the server and love playing on it with friends, i'm very sorry about my actions and take full responsibility however being unbanned would really make me happy and i believe i help bring a nice character to the server. I hope you decide to unban me and agree that i can help the server improve, i promise i wont ever do it again and do as much as possible to better myself.

So, you decided it was RDM and therefore you had the right to break NLR? Let me explain something.. We take our rules a bit more serious than your average server. Therefore, our rules are changing constantly to counter things that happen in-game and are considered grey areas. As such, the chance is pretty big that someone who is rather new to the server, or who has not ever read the rules (and thats a lot of people..) will play under the assumption of certain rules being in existence or being interpreted in a certain way. And as a consequence of that, a lot of people feel that in certain situations, they are RDM'd, or the complete opposite: will think something is not RDM when it is.

What I am trying to say is:

You do not determine when you are RDM'd. We do. For all I know, you got robbed at your helicopter and didn't hear the instructions and got shot as result. For all I know, you operate under the assumption that shooting a compliant hostage is RDM. Both have happened before. In both situations, it is not necessarily RDM.

Also; ask yourself this: How are we, the staff team who deals with reports and spectates you when you don't know we do, supposed to know you felt you were RDM'd, and are not just the next player who breaks NLR because he doesn't know the rules?

When you feel you are RDM'd, you need to contact someone. The person who did it, to ask and resolve the issue on TS, to find out their side of the story. And if you strongly feel you need to break NLR after the supposed RDM, contact the ingame admins or join the Support channels on TS. Only when YOU come to US to explain you were RDM'd and ask if you can break NLR, then you can actually break it, because it first needs to be establised that you were RDM'd.

Do you understand this? And do you, after understanding this, also understand your ban was not unreasonable? Because I am not even going to get into the rest of the appeal if you do not understand these two things.

( @Farmer Gilesyou have any recollection of this? )

Please respond shortly or this dispute will time out.

I understand the rules and know it was my fault but you also must understand that when something like that happens it is very frustrating as i had worked for about an hour.

i am sorry about my actions and wont do it again but please look from my point of view too

Okay, I suggest a quick refresh of the rules and are you willing to follow them going forward?
