In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I had killed a player without initiating with quality roleplay.

Why should we unban you ?
There was an ongoing hostage situation where a few guys had my friend, they told my friend to speak over coms while down (breaking a rule that was confirmed by the admin that banned me) and ask for his friends to come with the van (obviously wanting to steal the inventory, no problem with that) therefore I feel I had the right to go in and try rescue him as they knew someone could have come in or made a gateaway with the van, after all we went along with their roleplay (even though their roleplay was against the rules). I also compensated two of the people 300k each even though i only killed one of them and they said they were happy with that, then the third person logged in and they were trying to demand more compensation which i just ignored as they already said they were happy with the 600k between the two of them (even though that probably covers all 3 peoples gear and more) so to sum it up I feel like it was rather harsh and in the future I will make sure that there is quality roleplay on my part.

Ok, As i previously stated in the Why should we unban you section. (There was an ongoing hostage situation where a few guys had my friend hostage.)  I still thought that we were in an ongoing Rp situation. They were telling my friend that was downed to communicate with me (Which is a rule that they broke but we went along for Rp's sake) so i returned to the Drug Dealer area to try and save my friend. As i walked up the hill there was a man with a gun i initiated on him first. I thought we were still in a Rp situation therefore i thought i did not need to initiate by talking because i thought that this was an ongoing hostage situation. So i should have engaged by speaking to the guy first and creating a better Rp story.

 
Kierancon, can you give me a roleplay example of how you would have created a better RP story in this situation? 

 
Ok, I would have gotten the van that they requested, then approach the guys with my gun holstered and tried to work out a deal to get my friend Revived.

 
That isnt really much information. Give us a detailed plan of how you would roleplay the situation, with responses and what you would do under different circumstances. 

 
 I would have brought a car up with a blood bag and defibrillator and left my gun in the car, I would have approached the guys and say that i was a friend of the man that they had hostage. And tell them that i am here to work out a deal, if they agreed i would ask if i could at least keeps my friends blood topped up so we could work out a deal. I would also ask them to holster there guns if they have no intent to use any violence and work out some sort of deal so i could revive my friend. I would also let them ziptie me and search me so they know i'm not carrying any weapons and that i am here only for my friends life. if they declined i would ask them why and try to convince them that it does not need to result to violence and try to work out a deal without any more casualties. Then continue the roleplay and adjust and adapt my roleplay to whatever they were saying.

 
So that is a good example of high quality roleplay in a hostile situation. Are you familiar with the other rules we have?

Well, Roleplay rule (3.5) Which does not let me communicate with my friend applies to the scenario and i would also say Meta Gaming Rule (4.2) and obviously General Rule (2.2) Rdm which i was banned for. I would have to create an interesting Rp story, and perform in high quality Rp before considering to shoot. I would also say Roleplay rule (3.1).

 
I beleive you have a good understanding of the rules and shall be authorising your unban, however we do not wish to see you back here, and we do expect to see significantly better roleplay in hostile situations.
