I shot a guy while he was trying to escape in my friends boxer truck.

Why should we unban you ?
I was told by my friend that he told the guy to get out or we'll shoot and then he shot the tyres out of his truck, however apparently the guy did not hear this.
I then shot him as he was driving away after shooting at his tyres beforehand.

5 minutes before hand he tried to steal my friends boxer truck and he was told to leave and not come back or he would be shot. He then came back and got in and drove away.

He didn't ask me to come into teamspeak so i couldn't explain myself, any VDM was an accident as i tried to drive away and he was in the middle of the road.

After reviewing the footage I have realised what I did wrong and now know in future to make sure the person has sufficient warning  before lethal force is used.

The rule I broke was RDM/VDM however the VDM was unintentional and was an honest accident. The RDM occurred as I shot him as he was driving away in my friends stolen boxer truck after my friend gave warning and shot at his wheels, i then attempted to shoot at his wheels before he drove away, he did not stop and I used lethal force to halt the vehicle.

In the future, if I am in the same situation I will make 100% sure that he heard the warning and that i clearly state, "Get out or we will shoot" instead of, "get out get out"   I will also make sure I give sufficient time for him to comply and that I shoot at his tyres before I even attempt to use lethal force. I will do everything possible to halt the vehicle before lethal force is used.

Apologies, I did not fully understand what Jefke was asking me to do.

The rule I broke: RDM (Random Deathmatch) is when another person shoots and kills someone without role play or sufficient quality role play. It can also be shooting someone on sight. It is also when a player kills you with no reason or just for fun.

In my own words RDM is when a person shoots and kill another person without any initiation, quality RP or sufficient time to comply. It is also RDM when you don't shoot at their tyres before you use lethal force.

VDM -Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).

In my own words VDM is when you use a vehicle as a weapon, i.e, running someone over. However, VDM can often be an accident as vehicles are often unreliable and can explode very easily.

So if we put you in a similiar situation again. How would you deal with that ? What would you have changed in order to ultimately not getting reported/banned.

If I was put into a similar situation I would make sure I say  clearly "Get out or we will shoot" rather than just "get out get out." I would give sufficient time to comply and also make sure I shoot out his tyres before shooting him. I would also make sure the information my friend gives me is 100% true before i act upon it.
