I believe that I was banned because I logged out during an active situation and never returned.

Why should we unban you ?
I should be unbanned because I am truly sorry about this act and I promise that it will never happen again. This was a year ago and I have learned a lot since then and I will not be a hassle to deal with anymore and will listen to admins at all given times and never log out like that again.

Under general rules:

[SIZE=medium](2.5) Combat logging at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained (Punishment is a ban, which may be permanent. *) *Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first). [/SIZE]

The rule is in place to encourage fair play. This rule means that you can not leave the game under any point of time when in an active situation and the rules is there to avoid people from just randomly leaving the game because they've gotten tired of it or something made them mad. The rule is necessary in any sort of roleplay community because otherways people could straight up leave. Combat logging rule also avoids people like me slipping without punishment really.

Since then I've quit trolling and and have gone around on different roleplay servers, never really finding the one until I stumbled across this server in the server browser again. Figured might give it a shot. For the community part and unbanning, I feel that the community wouldn't necessary benefit from me, maybe a bit. I have done videography and cinematography before so maybe do some awesome edits and videos on the community - still unclear. I feel that the most part, if I am unbanned, and if my application to APD goes through (which I'm planning on) then the police force could benefit from my real life knowledge. Since the ban was issued I've gone through training and graduated as an assistant police officer. Also carry a service pistol now and as I've seen, some of real life tactics work in arma 3 too, so maybe help them out in a way.
