In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Desync, Admin speaking through another admin on ts stated that "Holy was seen flying a blue and white orca ... dropped him off in kavala .. police started shoting eh flew away and came back and there was no heli just a floating guy"

I was flying from kavala to Agios and was kicked off the server for suspected hacker.

Why should we unban you ?
Obvious desync or other lag related problem. Never landed the helicopter and got out only landed for a friend Jarhead15. Never got out the chopper or landed it and shut off the engines. Not sure what else to say, lag in the connection in between the server and myself cause issues and this is not the first time. If you feel that it is more appropriate to just keep me off the server then to keep causing problems then I will respect that and move to a new server.

So @Holy Drinkthis is what I saw. I'm sure you can understand why you were banned for hacking. 

Do you recall anything you did that may have caused this to happen? If you have any evidence proving you were in a helicopter, please post it here, be it a screenshot or video.

Hilarious!!
Totally looks like someone flying. An no got no evidence to prove otherwise considering I was not recording or taking screenshots at the time. Was playing with a friend at the time dropped him off and then flew around waiting on him. He can atest to this I am sure. Also bought that same heli I was in just after server restart and have no idea why it would just disappear like that.

Cops were shooting at me and I just wanted to get away. I did engage auto hover at one point but at no point at which this video places me(flying towards Agios) had I gotten out of the heli since I bought it. Do I have proof no, do I have an explanation no. The only way I could try to figure this out is by trial and error and try to repeat these events. I have not seen vehicles in arma disappear like that previously but also not surprise by these events considering the amount of lag I endure constantly on the altislife.co.uk servers.

Thank you, take your time. I completely understand why something like this would have gotten anyone banned including myself. And no reason to apologize you were just doing what your felt to be right. Had I been an admin on a server and the someone was flying around like that for what ever reason I would have completely banned them and started to ask questions if they wanted to be unbanned. An I do appreciate the servers for having an excellent admin team from what I have experienced.

This is the second time that lag has caused an issue for you. Is your bandwith not fast enough, or is it firewall issues?

It is firewall issues. I find I have way less lag if connected to a VPN then play on the server. For this issue at the time I was not using a VPN at all and to no avail the helicopter I was flying disappeared for everyone except for me..  Or just that one individual I don't know. I do know it has some relation to my connection otherwise for me to figure out how to fly around in arma 3 is a little beyond my knowledge base. But even more into this flying issue; why would I have just bought an orca for 500k if I could just fly around the map already?

My internet to start with is free and it is a connection of over 5 miles of repeaters and antennas that were strategically placed in my area to allow people on boats to connect to internet when close to shore. Sometimes heavy cloud coverage or large machinery can interfere with the signals, aswell as too many people using it at one time. There is almost nothing I could do to fix the lag beyond paying for internet which I will not do, I have paid tons of money to ensure everyone around me could utilize the internet for free and it works flawless for web browsing streaming, the only lag that ever occurs on our network is while gaming on any system including android phones. Lag occurs for everyone from time to time. On a good day my connection will never lag and on a bad it will lag every 2 minutes on the dot.

Despite me being convinced you are not a hacker, this has been a hard appeal to manage. Having spoken with management, concerns were raised that your connection will probably cause further issues. We deliberated over this, and final judgement was left to me.

I have decided to unban you as the reason for the ban in my opinion is void. I believe you were not hacking, therefore the ban should be overturned.

I will however warn you - if you continue to get banned due to your bad connection we will have to change tack, and you may find future appeals get denied. As such, I strongly suggest you play at times when your connection is likely to be at its best as you will be playing at your own risk.

I really hope not to see you appeal section again. If you do run into trouble, I would suggest you seek staff help as soon as possible to try and resolve any mishaps.
