In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was shot at without initiation (i am told that they did initiate) and because i believe they broke the rules by doing this i fled into the green zone and contacted the police waited for the police while driving around as not to get shot.

Why should we unban you ?
from my point of view i was only breaking the rules because i did not hear an initiation before being shot so should not be punished as someone else breaking the rules was the one to cause me to break them.

So in your eyes when someone breaks, to your own knowledge, the server rules you are allowed to break them as well and should not be punished for breaking them?

Well if someone is breaking the rules then i think that breaking them to protect myself should be tolerated. kind of like self defensive rule breaking.

So in your perspective when someone is being racist towards you otu of self protection you would be able to start being racist back to protect your dignity? Or when someone is VDM'ing people you can VDM him back? 

Let me tell you that is not tolerated here in any sort of way. When someone breaks the server rules in no circumstances can you break them yourself. You need to report these people to the staff team and they will be dealt with.

Well i see that now and i was never trying to say that breaking the rules was the correct thing to do. Also, in my experience with other servers and games the admins have never actually done anything with reports that are made and i didn't realise until after this ban that the admins were so active and actually doing administration unlike with other servers so i didn't think i report would go anywhere.

The Rules I broke:

[SIZE=medium]Your character does not remember where any of its vehicles outside the garage are [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Your character does not remember any previous enemies (your killer/robber etc) [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Your character cannot return within 1000m of the location of death or be involved in the same combat situation until the 15 minute NLR timer has expired. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Your character does remember their friends & gang members.[/SIZE]

(6.1.6) You must not exploit the green zone to avoid ongoing hostile roleplay. Retreating into a green zone is forbidden.

I broke 5.3 because after i was executed i went back to see what was happening to my friend (he was also executed). yes i know that this is breaking the rules of going within 1000m of my death but i did not interact with the situation

And i broke 6.1.6 because as i said before, i did not think that roleplay had been properly initiated before i was fired upon so i fled to the green zone.

well if i had the knowledge that the admins actually do something in this server,  unlike other servers, i would have probably called them sort out what happened instead of taking matters into my own hands and breaking the rules. Also, if i knew that the rules on this server were so heavily enforced then i would much prefer dying than getting banned and losing all my progress on the server.

RPUK has a very active team of staff who are actively enforcing the rules at any and all available opportunities. We pride ourselves with keeping the community clear of as many rule-breakers as we possibly can. As it appears you have now realized, breaking rules yourself makes you just as bad as the initial rule breaker.

As you have an otherwise clean record, I will be unbanning you on this occasion.

Such behavior will not be accepted in the future and you're likely to find that if you end up in the same situation that you'll be given a lot less slack in your appeal.
